Unique Orthodontics

Great place! The front desk staff have always been kind, friendly, and welcoming. The prices aren’t the most affordable, but that’s becoming common everywhere. My only suggestion would be to make the environment a little more teen-friendly, as I think it would better serve families with older kids.

Unique Orthodontics is an incredible place! The office has such a fun, welcoming atmosphere with vibrant green walls, video games for patients to enjoy, and even free popsicles! 🍦🎮 The staff provides excellent service and really makes clients feel comfortable and welcome. It’s a great environment, especially for kids and families. I highly recommend Unique Orthodontics!

Came in for a consultation & The staff were really nice! Thank you, Lara for your help. Unfortunately, I did have a negative experience with one of the dental assistants. I felt that she was not very accommodating or attentive to my concerns. While my mouth was open during the procedure and I was unable to communicate easily, I felt uncomfortable when my requests for help were not addressed with the care and reassurance I needed.The interaction became overwhelming and caused me to have a panic attack, something I had never experienced before. Despite that experience, I don’t want to lower my rating because of one person. The doctor was amazing, and Angelica was absolutely wonderful—sweet, kind, caring, and incredibly supportive throughout my visit. Overall, it was a great experience with a team that truly cares about their patients.

I chose Invisalign because I was very clear with the orthodontist about the results I wanted. My main concern was that when I bite down, my upper front teeth cover too much of my lower teeth (a deep bite/overbite). I specifically asked if Invisalign could correct this, and I was reassured that it could. After completing treatment, this issue was not corrected. Had I been told from the beginning that Invisalign would not achieve the result I wanted, I would have appreciated that honesty so I could have made a more informed decision. Another part of my experience was uncomfortable. I mentioned that my teeth do not show much when I smile, and instead of discussing possible dental or facial anatomy reasons, the orthodontist asked if I had lip filler. Countless women have filler and it doesn't cover their teeth when they smile. Later, when I explained that my Invisalign trays were leaving marks inside my cheeks, she again asked if I had filler, this time in my cheeks, and suggested that was probably the cause. I found these assumptions inappropriate and dismissive of the concerns I was bringing to a healthcare professional. It left me feeling judged rather than listened to. When my Invisalign attachments (buttons) were removed, two attachments on my back molars were left behind. My dentist removed one because there was a cavity underneath it and told me there was no reason those attachments should have been left on after treatment. I also consistently noticed that the office floors appeared dirty and poorly maintained during my visits, which was concerning in a healthcare setting. The positive part of my experience was the staff. They were friendly and courteous. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. My primary treatment goal was not achieved, some concerns I raised were dismissed, attachments were left on my teeth after treatment, and the cleanliness of the office did not inspire confidence. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future patients.

Too bad this place turned into a nightmare. Today the lobby smelled like urine, the wait time for a 12pm appt was 45min. The front desk girl couldn’t care less nor have the energy to pick herself up and go ask how much longer. She tells me “yeah I will in a few minutes” and the cherry on top they make you leave a personal item in some basket to get a key to the restroom. They absolutely will not provide a bathroom in their office. FYI, Unique Orthodontic, check out the California law for bathroom usage for certain people with medical conditions. It’s real and your office should be aware of it.
