We had a wonderful experience at Rick's Orthodontics from our very first visit. When I started feeling unwell during our consultation, the staff immediately went above and beyond by emailing our braces estimate so we could head home sooner instead of waiting, and their kindness truly stood out. Throughout the process, they were incredibly responsive, returning phone calls quickly if they missed one and emailing information right away whenever we had questions or needed documentation. The consultation itself was far more thorough than the two other orthodontic offices we visited in town. The doctor paid close attention to detail, took the time to answer all of our questions, and even emailed me the consultation notes afterward so I could compare the treatment recommendations with another office. He also took the time to get to know my son by asking about his interests, what school he attends, and what grade he's in, which made him feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. We wanted to support a small business on our side of town, and although we could have gone to an in-network orthodontist for significantly less, we chose Rick's Orthodontics because of the exceptional care, kindness, and personal attention we received. We're looking forward to starting braces treatment soon and feel confident we made the right choice!

Ricks Family Orthodontics is the Best !!! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter and I enjoy going to every appointment because of the warm inviting atmosphere and amazing staff. Dr. Ricks is so amazing and him and his staff always take time to walk you and your child through all the work they did after every visit. I could not ask for a better orthodontist this place is truly the Best in Bakersfield!!!!!

I get my braces done here. Very warm, inviting, caring, and overall amazing staff. I feel very taken care of and valued here. I feel that Dr. Ricks truly cares about his patients and only has their best interests in mind. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their braces done.
