I had my first root canal today and was extremely nervous going in. In the past, whenever I’ve had dental work done, the lidocaine shots were painful and I could still feel pain during the procedure, so I was really anxious about this appointment. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff and dental assistant were incredibly kind and reassuring. They made me feel comfortable right away and helped calm my nerves. Dr. Roy Shim did an amazing job. I didn’t even feel the lidocaine shots, which has never happened to me before, and I felt absolutely no pain during the root canal itself. Dr. Shim also checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. This was honestly the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful to Dr. Shim and the entire team for being so caring and professional. I highly recommend them

Everyone was great, from the office staff to the dental hygienist and Dr. Shim himself. I called about a tooth that had just lost a filling and they were able to fit me in very quickly (just a couple days after my call). The office staff were very patient and diligent in helping to ensure my insurance would cover my visit. I had an exam and a cleaning, and they were even able to fit me in the same day to get a root canal and crown. The same-day crown process was a great choice; its tough to imagine going back to the lab-based approach after this experience. Dr. Shim worked quickly and the recovery from the procedure was much quicker than past experiences with other dentists. The pricing was reasonable/standard. Overall, based on the excellent service and deft work of Dr. Shim, I consider it a great value. I definitely just found my new dentist.

Completely satisfied with Dr. Shim’s work on my crowns and emergency treatment. The office was super helpful and worked with me when my insurance was giving me trouble. The rest of the staff is super friendly too!

Dr. Shim is an excellent dentist. I believe he has given me 4 or 5 crowns over the last 10 years. He works quickly without compromising the quality of his work. The staff is very nice as well.
