Rollins & Petersen Orthodontics

First experience with this orthodontist… Our first impression, is that it was odd that the braces are entirely installed by dental assistants. They also don’t put the metal brackets around the back molars like the used to (maybe some “new” dental theories/research to support that, or it’s cheaper? - but I digress) Referred here by our dentist… here’s our story: My daughter had her braces put on 12/22/25. We were told to (and are presumably paying for) monthly visits, but for whatever reason, this location couldn’t see us until 02/17/26 (two months)… in the days following installation, THREE(3) brackets completely came off her teeth… We were a bit shocked, both my wife and I having had braces as kids (and father in-law is a retired dentist), that NEVER happened to us… we managed an emergency appointment 01/06/26 to get them put back on. Yesterday 01/24/26, another fell off… today 01/25/26 there are TWO(2) more (while eating mashed potatoes, if anyone’s wondering) Maybe the dental assistant (who did the actual work) started a few months ago? Maybe they just don’t make braces like they used to? I personally have a bracket on MY teeth that was put on 25 YEARS ago, and it’s still there! What’s happening here!?! Our initial “follow-up” appointment isn’t for another three(3) WEEKS!… Are we expected to live our lives knowing that at any moment her braces might fall apart, causing us to bend over backwards to make time to come BACK unexpectedly… practically weekly for the next two(2)+ YEARS?!? In retrospect, we feel that we should have simply found a dentist independently. Not sure if there’s some kind of kick-back program throughout the dental/ortho world, but, either way… live-and-learn… If the orthodontist somehow intervenes and does some good, honest, solid work, maybe I’ll consider taking down this “bad” review. I honestly don’t usually “review” places… but seeming as how our experience so starkly contradicts the currently posted reviews, I felt inclined to document our process. Hope this helps someone.

We're now on our 4th family member getting a beautiful smile with Rollins and Peterson. Friendly, accommodating customer service and a great final product. Highly recommend.

My daughter is a patient of Rollins & Petersen. We’ve known since she was very young she would need braces. She had a cross bite, an over bite, a scissor bite and a gap between her two front teeth. They were able to fix her teeth in only 18 months! I was so pleased with the results. Her brothers both had braces from a different orthodontist and their teeth weren’t even as messed up as hers and they both had braces for 3-4 years!

I was referred to this office by my dentist and I am so glad i followed through . Let me start by saying I’ve always struggled with an imperfect smile my whole life and now at 30 I want to take control of it. I was so nervous going in but Dr Peterson and Toni were FABULOUS. I am so excited to continue working with this office. My insurance doesn’t cover adult treatment but the pricing was super reasonable compared to other places I’ve been to in the past. I’m so blessed for the payment plan I was given and will definitely recommend this place to anyone in need.

Amazing Orthodontics. I would not trust my smile or families to anyone else. Always pleased with the warm welcoming and engaging assistance that is given. Everyone is so polite and so thoughtful. Thank you for all you do.
