After searching for a dentist for several years, I found Excellence in Dentistry through their online website. Excellence in Dentistry has been my dental provider for approximately the past three years. Dr. Kendall Skinner and his staff continue to amaze me at every visit. They are extremely skilled, professional, helpful, polite, and welcoming. Dr. Skinner provides outstanding expertise care in aesthetic dentistry, as well as, all areas of dentistry. Let me first say, "I hate dentists!" I am one of those people. I can take a lot of pain in my body but not my head. Goodness, even my hair hurts sometimes. I hate dentists so much, I have tried my hardest to have good daily oral care. But inevitably, now in my 40's my usual once a year care wasn't enough. I was procrastinating finding a dentist when I first moved to Anchorage, Alaska. But then I found Excellence in Dentistry. They are exactly that. Excellent! If you are wanting the cheapest option, this isn't it. But if your priority is excellent, knowledgeable, thorough, communicative, patient, considerate, reliable and trustworthy care, this is your place!!! I moved to Anchorage about 5, almost 6 years ago. Since then, my whole family has become patients of Excellence in Dentistry. We have seen them a lot! Unfortunately, we have needed a lot of dental care (because of past dental problems long before coming here). Excellence has treated us for annual checkups, cleanings, but also cavities, implants, gum infections, tooth pain, you name it, we have been through it. Throughout they have been truly "excellent". As I said, I hate the dentist, and know I am still a difficult patient who complains about pain, asks many, many questions and has anxiety in the chair. It is still a difficult experience for me, but at Excellence in Dentistry, I have found a home. From the office staff to accounting dept. to nurses, to technicians, and especially Dr. Skinner and Dr. Fox, each time we visit, we are treated not just like friends, but as well as their family members. I highly recommend Excellence in Dentistry with Dr. Skinner and Dr. Fox. They are the real deal. Experienced, patient, honest, transparent and honestly just good people. While I may always hate going to the dentist, I will happily visit this team because they truly are excellent in every way.
