I would recommend South Alabama Smiles to ANYONE! Not only did they get me scheduled for a new patient appointment within TWO days, Dr. Thompson was so kind and understanding to my dental and healthcare needs. 10/10…HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The absolute BEST experience I have ever had at the dentist. Everyone was so welcoming and put my nerves at ease. The hygienist was gentle and kind. Dr. Thompson was very thorough and genuine. I cannot recommend them enough. 10/10 dental experience.

This is one of the best dentist offices I have been to. They make you feel comfortable and at ease. Anyone with dental issues knows, that's not always the case. Pricing is pretty standard here from what I have found, so not much to comment there, but the staff makes this a great place to go when you need anything teeth related! It’s always a pleasure to be in the presence of the South Alabama Smiles crew. Dr. Thompson saw my husband and our one year old today as well. The hygienist, Patricia, is always very thorough and walks each patient through their treatment. Each assistant made sure we were all comfortable and the Administrative Assistants provided us with a clear understanding of our treatment plans.

I appreciate the way the staff made me feel today at South Alabama Smiles. I am not originally from this area and I was in search of a dentist that would make me feel like they cared and was satisfied . Unlike the last two dental offices, I noticed that I was the only person of my race coming there and that’s how I was treated. I saw many HIPAA signs but never saw anyone wash their hands. They are also the reason why I lost several teeth. I should not have been caught up between the issues with the dentist and the insurance company because it was the holidays and they requested payment before my dental treatment was complete and before I had received my partial. The insurance company called it fraud and left me caught in the middle. My insurance company paid them $3000 and I never got my dental work completed nor my teeth. I pray for them because KARMA is real.That incident made me skeptical about who I chose and trying to make the right choice. People, try to be careful who you choose. I feel confident in South Alabama Smiles. Thanks again for making me feel comfortable with my visit today.
