I just wanted to give a plug for Bates Orthodontist on Lakeshore! My son had an adult tooth grow in very far back in his mouth - so far that when he closed his jaws his bottom teeth were in front of his top teeth. He looked like a bulldog 🙃😬 They did their best to keep the cost low for his initial treatment since he will likely need braces again once all his permanent teeth come in. However, this afternoon when we went to get the molds made for his trays his tooth had miraculously moved forward enough to where it wasn’t disturbing his jaw alignment anymore. They completely refunded our money for the treatment and put us on an observation plan for the next year. We did not owe them anything! They very easily could have gone forward with the treatment plan as we never would have noticed it had self corrected. They are SO kind, honest, thoughtful and were amazing with my son. If your child needs braces or alignment of any kind please check them out. Their office is very cool, their staff is kind and the doctors are honest and so helpful.

I highly recommend Bates Orthodontics. All the staff are so friendly, nice and always has big smiles. Since I've seen Brenisha most of the time, I really have to brag on how sweet she is. She really makes you feel good and I always leave happy. Dr. Bates is the absolute best and I have recommended him to my daughter. They have really taken special care of me.

20+ years after having braces, I had a few teeth shifting that I wanted to correct. I chose Dr. Bates for my aligner treatment, and I am extremely pleased with every aspect of the service. He was very honest and knowledgeable about my alignment needs, and his team was extremely helpful, kind and informed on the treatments as well. The office is also a very welcoming space and not as scary as the orthodontist office that I remember as a kid. Most importantly, they helped me quickly get my smile back to where I wanted it. I would highly recommend Dr. Bates and his team for orthodontic care!

Dr. Bates and his team are the absolute best. Their team has gone above and beyond to help me and my family with our needs and concerns. Dr. Bates is also extremely knowledgeable and personable and makes you feel at ease with the treatment process. Can’t recommend this office enough!

Dr. Bates is amazing! My son actually looks forward to his appointments! The staff is beyond friendly and makes you feel so welcomed! Office is spectacularly decorated and clean. I wouldn’t trust another to take care of my son’s braces!!!
