I had a few good experiences here with people being kind. But... My first visit I left crying because the doctor was heavily judging me and making comments in front of me to the hygienist about my gums bleeding and raising her voice saying that I had a huge infection above a tooth that already had a root canal and it had to come out and it freaked me out and made me panic, I know tooth infections can be no joke and go south fast. It was unprofessional to say the least. (I have EDS a connective tissue disorder so my gums get really angry sometimes even when I do things "perfect" and everyone struggles sometimes with things. They shouldn't be shamed publicly by the people who are supposed to help) I went back to get the work done that they told me I needed begrudgingly and the doctor was kind these other times (after I gave a bad review on a survey they sent, not sure if that's related or not). The oral surgeon who pulled my tooth was really kind and did a good job, even with me having a panic attack he was calm and nice and reassuring. When they told me the cost of everything it was over $3000 and I couldn't afford that so they told me I qualified for their payment plan and I figured this was some inhouse payment plan and was just relieved I could try and get the work I needed done after being freaked out about a huge infection and they asked me to sign consent for treatment, and something for the payment plan, etc (they don't actually show you what you're signing or offer to, I should have pressed but, I didn't) and a week later I get some credit card in the mail from "smile generation" and realized the "payment plan" they told me about was actually an extremely high interest credit card, and sure you get some months free of interest, only if you pay more than they tell you your monthly payment will be in the office. They did not mention to me once that this was a credit card they were signing me up for, didn't even imply that's what it was... I'm super upset, and my teeth hurt worse than before I went and got the work done...

Sadaf, Dr. Kang, Dr. Marks- In dentistry, an underrated skill is compassion and empathy. I had some major work that had been overlooked for a long while. Smiles took care of me in the most compassionate way, providing sedation and the utmost care when it came to pain management, checking with me throughout the procedure and coaching me on exactly where they were in the process. A pleasure to walk into the office where they all knew my name by the second visit.

Highly recommend! Dr. Kang is very personable and gentle. I’ve never been one to enjoy the dentist, but the whole team there has consistently made the experience as enjoyable as possible. Mustafa was kind and friendly.

Great experience with Dr. Kang and Julianne as a new patient. They were both professional, friendly, and made the whole appointment easy and comfortable. Dr. Kang was very thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly. Highly recommend!
