Had a wonderful new patient experience at Tacoma Smiles. Sadaf, Jayla, Jennifer, and Dr. Kang were all friendly and explained every step of the process, as well as laying out clear treatment plans. They were sympathetic and worked efficiently with more uncomfortable parts like x-rays to make them smooth, and the front office as well was efficient with check-ins and insurance matters. Highly recommend this practice!

I am VERY persnickity choosing a new dentist. My former dentist, now too distant because I moved, was/is the best. It took me awhile to find a great dentist near my new home, but WOW. Dr. Jasmine Mark's and her staff are phenomenal. Professional, personable, gentle, knowledgeable, caring. The best. I feel fortunate to have found this wonderful practice. My teeth are even more pleased!

This is the second dentist I’ve tried in Tacoma and was head and shoulders above what I’d experienced before. The front office staff was professional, kind, and knowledgeable about the practice. Dr. Marks saw me and took the time to explain my X-rays and my condition in detail and answer my questions. The office also went out of their way to accommodate me for an unplanned procedure that same day, even though it seemed like they were quite busy. I really appreciated that. Misty was my hygienist and she did a fantastic job with my cleaning, also taking time before and after to explain things to me. Really glad I found this office. Will continue to get all my dental care here! I also wanted to mention that I have dental insurance but felt that I was well informed throughout regarding how much I would pay out of pocket for my care. No surprises when it was time to pay. Update: I came back for my teeth whitening and Sadaf did an amazing job!

Sent my 25 year old daughter to Dr Prairna Kang, for the advertised 59 dollar cleaning and check up price for new patients. My daughter had no cavities. But the teeth cleaning? 3542 dollars. But for you? Only 1130.00 just pay 557.00 today and sign for this payment plan. I have the paperwork, so no joke! When my daughter said she did not have this, the Dr asked her what she COULD pay. She was screaming at her and saying all of her teeth would fall out! Needless to day, my daughter has made an appointment with a reputable dentist. I do think someone's rent was due and the Dr needed money fast!!

When I was looking for a dentist in the area, I looked up ‘dentists that are good for people with sensory issues’, and Tacoma Smiles came up first, and I understand why now. Jasmine Marks says in her profile that she treats everyone like they are her mom in that chair, and I can confirm that this is the truth. The staff are all so kind, and most importantly, they are personable. The office itself feels comfortable, and it’s easy to find. Scheduling an appointment was also very easy to do with their online portal, and they use MyChart Smile Generation so that you have access to your record the same way you do with your medical records. I definitely recommend Tacoma Smiles.
