Mik Ortho

I got my braces done here several years ago. As an adult patient, I was a bit nervous about the process and the results. From the very first consultation through to final adjustments—and even afterward—Dr. Mik and his staff have always been wonderful: friendly and polite. I felt really welcome and at ease there (though I won't lie, tightening the braces wasn't the most fun 😉). Even after I finished my treatment, I had to visit a couple of times again to get a new retainer because I got new crowns. Even after the orthodontic treatment, their care has been top-notch. They’re always quick and punctual. My experience with Mik Ortho has been fantastic.

I have loved my experience with Mik Ortho so far. I went at the beginning of October for my FREE consultation regarding clear aligner/braces treatment. After getting a scan with the sweetest lady, Shannon, I was able to sit down with her and Dr. Mik to discuss treatment options. It was determined that clear aligners would be the best option to fix my issues. Just remember, the consultation is very important. Our teeth and problems with them vary from person to person. Therefore, the recommendations and ultimately the cost will also vary. Next, Dr. Mik came up with a treatment plan and they called me in to discuss the plan. It was determined that I had some more issues that needed to be corrected and it would take a bit longer for treatment. Which is fine with me because the whole reason I went there was to get the problems resolved and secondly to have a straight and beautiful smile. After I approved his treatment plan. I left and he submitted the plan to the makers of my aligners (Angel Aligners) and now we are waiting for Dr. Mik’s office to receive my aligners. Since we aren’t exactly sure when they will receive my aligners (as it usually takes 2-3 weeks), I have a tentative appointment for the beginning of December. While Dr. Mik and my regular dentist Dr. David Greer (amazing dentist and office staff as well) both believe in conservative treatment, it was determined that I do need a tooth removed on the bottom. I do have pretty bad crowding there and a big part of why I need treatment. I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Greer for my extraction. While the extraction and application of of my Angel Aligners CAN take place in the same day, I have opted to have the extraction done about a week before due to other health concerns. So far, my experience has been great! Dr. Mik, Shannon, Allison and the office staff at both the Crowley and Fort Worth locations have been excellent as well! They are very sweet and helpful when answering questions. I will we back to update my review, once I have had the extraction and have started the aligners. So far, so good! Definitely would recommend!

Ballard Family Dentristy referred us to Mik and we are so grateful. They walked us through the entire process, told us all the do’s and dont’s, and answered every question thoroughly. The process to put in my son’s braces took maybe 30 minutes too and bottom and they made sure he was comfortable during the entire process. The girls are all so sweet, and the open layout and natural light of the building made the Whole experience pleasant.

All 3 of our kids see Dr Mik and have had great experiences! Everyone at their office is super friendly and takes the time to answer all of our questions. The kids love all their fun incentives, drawings and raffles!

This dentist only has 5 stars reviews on Google and I hope my review helps people considering to get Invisalign done with this dentist. If you would like in depth consultation, I would recommend somewhere different. The dentist seemed always in a rush and barely no time to discuss any concerns. I spoke up a few times that some part of my progress didn’t feel right but I was told it is what it is. Today was my last appointment which means my completion day of Invisalign but I didn’t feel satisfied with my results at all. Nobody didn’t even say anything about how my teeth turned out and this was my completion today as they knew that it didn’t turn out excellently and I sensed that they just wanted me to walk out and be done with it. My last retainer was ordered more than months ago even without being confirmed that the progress was looking good with me. I didn’t feel right at all with how it’s been going so I got a second opinion at Bemis Family Dental who does Invisalign also and he mentioned that my aligner isn’t even symmetrical/biting is off and he would not order the retainer yet if he was in charge of treatment. By the way, I highly recommend this dentist and I wish I knew them before!) Anyway, I loved all the technicians and receptionists though. They were very professional and kind. However, teeth is very important and affect your life so with that aspect I would not recommend to get Invisalign done here.
