Access Dental Care

I initially left a positive review for Access Dental a few years ago, but this practice has gone downhill rapidly. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating. Even when I first praised them, they were constantly and aggressively trying to upsell me on dental treatments and add-ons I explicitly stated I did not need—I was only ever there for a basic cleaning. To make matters worse, they even tried to pitch Botox injections during a visit. Over the last three years, their reliability completely collapsed. They canceled and rescheduled my annual cleanings using excuse after excuse, leaving me with only one cleaning in a three-year span. After briefly trying another local office that also played cancellation games, I decided to give Access Dental one last chance for an urgent tooth pain issue. They saw me quickly and kept a scheduled cleaning appointment, but when I arrived, the receptionist told me I was "maxed out on visits" and demanded an unexpected $65 upfront payment for a cleaning that is fully covered by my insurance. When I rightfully questioned this and stated I would no longer be coming back, I simply walked out.To add insult to injury, I received a formal dismissal letter in the mail today stating they would no longer provide my care. It’s a ridiculous power trip and a form of harassment considering I had already fired them in person days prior. Save your time, your teeth, and your sanity—avoid this practice. Just an additional note, upon reading other individuals reviews I noticed that this practice is very unprofessional with a lot of their responses to their reviews! Instead of just saying, we are sorry in regards to your experience they go on parading a patient on their review, which is wrong! It’s an Unnecessary aggressive approach to a former patient!

Dr. Taraneh Tabatabaie, DMD The staff were friendly n professional. I felt comfortable as soon as I sat in the dentist chair. Dr Taraneh explained my treatment plan she thought wld work for me and my situation. She was kind and nonjudgmental. Answered all my question in a way that I cld understand. I trust her advise. Thank you Brian for finding me the best financial plan that fir my budget. I highly recommend this dental group. 5 + stars

This was my first visit to Access Dental Care, and I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in until the time I left after my appointment. My hygienist was warm, professional, and explained everything she was doing throughout the visit, which made me feel very comfortable. The doctor was also wonderful and welcoming. I’m so happy to have found a new home for my preventive dental care. I would highly recommend Access Dental Care to my family and friends.

I have been scared of dentists since I was a child but this place truly made me feel at ease. For my initial intake Pauv was extremely friendly and accepting and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable during my visit. We went through my x-rays and she explained everything to me tooth by tooth. Dr. Gorman treated me and was also super kind and made me feel super comfortable. I had an extraction today and Dr. Gorman and the assistant did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible. They stopped when I indicated I was in pain and applied more numbing, they answered all questions I had and even joked a little to keep it light hearted since I was so nervous. I did not feel any pain during or after the procedure and feel very comfortable now resting. I am excited to continue my dental care at Access they are truly a great team!

The place is nice and clean. I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years so I was a little apprehensive and embarrassed at first, however my dental hygienist, I believe her name was Melanie, was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. She knows what she’s doing & did a great job overall!!
