Rittenhouse Orthodontics is the best! I had braces when I was younger but, like many people, I didn’t wear my retainers and my teeth shifted over time. From my very first visit, Dr. Jordyn Middleberg made me feel completely comfortable. She is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made me feel confident about my treatment plan. Her office is welcoming and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. I’m excited to start treatment and would highly recommend her to anyone considering orthodontic care!

Had a great experience here!! it’s hard to find good service these days. Have to give credit where it’s due! The staff I interacted with were all very personable. It’s a great environment. I saw Jordyn for some Invisalign trays. My teeth shifted a bit from when I had braces when I was little. I don’t have ortho coverage. I called several places for quotes. Rittenhouse orthodontics was the only place I found that offered different tiers to the Invisalign plans and charged me less than half than what I was quoted from other places for that reason. I thought the way Jordyn prepared me really stuck out. I am client facing myself and I have to commend her on how she manages her clients expectations. She provided clear expectations at my free consult, and then surprised me with even better news when I went in for my trays. I feel like most businesses these days say what they need to to get you in the door and there’s always a risk of surprises. It does not seem like that’s how she does business, which I really appreciated!

My experience with Dr. Tuncay and Rittenhouse Orthodontics started off very positive, but unfortunately became one of the most painful and emotionally frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with dental care. As my LightForce braces treatment progressed, I began experiencing severe and excruciating pain. When I repeatedly voiced my concerns to Dr. Tuncay, I was told it was “all in my head.” Eventually, it was discovered that I had severe and advanced root resorption caused by the orthodontic movement not being stopped in time. Soon after, my braces were removed and I was transitioned to Invisalign. However, my bottom front teeth remained extremely mobile, even while wearing retainers. I constantly had to advocate for myself and push to be taken seriously after my symptoms were repeatedly dismissed. Dr. Tuncay eventually referred me to a specialist — a colleague of his — who confirmed that I did in fact have severe root resorption directly related to the LightForce braces treatment. Despite spending close to $8,000 in hopes of improving my smile, I left with permanent complications that I did not have before treatment. My top teeth have shifted back close to their original position, and my bottom teeth now require a bonded retainer placed by Dr. Tuncay after I continued expressing my dissatisfaction. Eventually, I was removed as a patient from the practice altogether. The most devastating part is that I can no longer safely undergo orthodontic treatment in the future because moving my teeth again significantly increases the risk of tooth loss due to the extent of the root damage. I understand that complications can happen in orthodontics, but what made this experience especially upsetting was feeling dismissed, unheard, and invalidated throughout the process.

Highly recommend! I had a couple consults and felt most comfortable with Dr. Middleberg. She made the whole process easy and stress free. Dr. Middleberg took the time to listen to all my questions and explained every step. The staff is also very personable and helpful. 10/10 recommend!!!

Dr. Jordyn Middleberg is simply the best orthodontist!!! She is excellent at her craft, a thoughtful and kind communicator, and I couldn’t recommend this office more.
