Dr Crowe and team have helped me to address sleep apnea with expansion and re-alignment. I’ve been so appreciative of their care, always willing to answer my questions. Dr. Crowe even gave me her personal number to text with questions or concerns throughout the journey. Can’t recommend them enough!

Lead dentist was present only to sell me program. Never saw her again. Assistants were polite but not as thorough or helpful as needed. My son is very sensitive to pain and they got very impatient with him. Then when he was finished straightening with Invisalign, the $400 retainer would not stay in his mouth while sleeping and they sent him away telling him he just needs to wear it more. I came in for a consultation to discuss options for straightening my smile that had been needing ortho care since I was a child. I had been told by all of the many providers I approached over the years that I would not be able to use invisible aligners, I was not a “good candidate”, and my only option was metal braces. As an adult, this was the last thing I wanted, but I had more or less resigned myself to that idea … Metal braces for 2+ years, or crooked teeth for life. Imagine my shock when Dr. Crowe, all nonchalance and confidence, presented a simple plan with Invisalign, lasting less than 2 years, and without needing extractions or anything more complicated than rubber bands. I was somewhat skeptical, but mostly excited. The following 19 months of treatment were a breeze, minimally invasive, and every appointment was timely and effective. My expectations were managed by Dr. Crowe with clarity, there was always a holistic approach to every step and in every conversation, and I relished the informative but emotionally neutral approach to my case. This especially made a difference as other providers made me feel guilt and shame for not being able to straighten my teeth sooner, and saw my teeth as a problem needing to be “fixed” rather than alignment being a small piece of the puzzle that creates better oral and overall health — something I’ve come to appreciate most about POG’s approach. We finished my treatment in excellent time, and the financial department was always communicative and supportive when we had some insurance coverage changes. This office is full of helpful and kind professionals, and I feel very lucky to have found POG!

Such a great experience, everyone is knowledgeable and unbelievably kind. My daughter has gorgeous straight teeth and never had any anxiety over orthodontist appointments, which is huge. I often had to bring all the littler kids with us to appointments and the staff was always helpful and accommodating with them, and incredibly patient with the chaos and noise :) Thank you, Portland Orthodontic Group!
