Pure Smiles - Western Hills

It was my first visit to Pure Smiles, I was very impressed by the staff, the surroundings and how everything was explained to me. Great exam and cleaning. The staff Is extremely knowledgeable and make you feel at ease. I highly recommend!

Omg , love love love this place. The ladies all rocked. They were all Rockstars . They had a rhythm and they were all in tune. I wasn't expecting to have done what they did in less than 2 hours. First visit had an Exam talked about parcels and have small cavity. The Dr. and assistant finished up with that I went to cleaning. She did her measuring and cleaning . Anyway it was a great day for the first time at a new dentist. For a Monday too. Thank you Ladies and I believe a gentleman or 2. ROCKSTARS

I was encouraged by Jacalyn to leave a review if I was dissatisfied, so I’m sharing my experience for future patients. I originally came to this office for cleanings when I obtained dental insurance. Over time, I needed additional work, and Dr. Lambing completed several fillings. One of these fillings was uncomfortable for nearly a year because it was shaped improperly, and it eventually cracked. I asked if the tooth could be refilled to avoid a possible root canal, but the discomfort continued. The tooth later became infected, and Dr. Lambing informed me that during the original filling, the drilling had gone deeper than intended, which contributed to the infection and the eventual need for a root canal. Because root canals are expensive, I called to confirm what had already been billed to my dental insurance so I could understand my out-of-pocket costs. My plan covers $1,500 per year, and the root canal alone was $1,200. When I asked about previous charges, the receptionist, Talia, responded dismissively, saying, “We can’t un-charge your insurance,” even though I never requested that — I was simply trying to verify my remaining coverage. During the conversation, Jacalyn also spoke negatively about the provider who performed my root canal while simultaneously telling me I should have handled my own concern “more professionally,” which felt hypocritical. I was later told that several hygienists were supposedly uncomfortable with me as a patient. This was never communicated in any prior appointment, and I never had issues scheduling, being seen, or being charged until I asked questions about my treatment. Based on how the situation was handled, I left with the impression that they may be uncomfortable with patients who present in certain ways culturally or stylistically. This is something I feel is important for others to be aware of. I understand that providers early in their career can make mistakes, and my intention is not to diminish anyone’s experience. However, patients deserve transparent communication, and consistent care. My experience fell short in these areas, and I believe others should have this information when choosing where to receive treatment.

I went there because I had a couple busted teeth that needed to be fixed. Well they set up a care plan alright, that started with work to the complete opposite side of my mouth. Even though I expressed having pain in those busted teeth! Needless you say im still in pain! The dentist was more worried about preventive maintenance. Also I have been trying to call and no answer and no call back whatsoever. Seems they dont really care about the patient as it seems its more about money!

Everyone was very nice, very easy going atmosphere, they even have complimentary water, and some chapter books to browse while you are there! Only waited in the lobby for about 5min before we were called back. The dentist and tech I had were awesome! They talked with my daughter the whole time and made everything nice and informative for her about what they were doing to her teeth! I will absolutely be back! Thanks for a great visit!!
