The Smile Architects

Dr. Chris Meletiou is a native of North Carolina. He was born in Morganton and grew up in interesting places including California, Sweden, New York, and Iowa. Dr. Meletiou graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in anthropology and from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After dental school, Chris attended a residency at the University of Iowa Hospital learning more about how dentistry and medicine are intertwined. Professionally, Dr. Meletiou enjoys listening and helping his patients realize their personal goals to excellent oral health and how that can achieve better overall health. His many years of experience in techniques including one-visit crowns, Invisalign orthodontics, and cosmetic procedures, allow him to offer the best to his patients. In his spare time, Chris enjoys working on cars and spending time on the race track. He is an Eagle Scout and is active with the Boy Scouts volunteering as an Assistant Scoutmaster. Chris really enjoys traveling and discovering fun places with his wife Tamyra and their two adult children, Austin and Linnea.

Doctor Jim Meletiou is a native of North Carolina, born in Morganton. Besides North Carolina, he enjoyed growing up California, New York, Iowa and the country of Sweden. After graduation from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry he began his first career in dentistry as an instructor in Oral Diagnosis and Radiology at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Now, he combines his love of practicing dentistry and teaching through his advanced training in CEREC technology also known as, same day crowns. He is one of only a handful of dentists in our state who is certified to train other doctors in this technology. He derives a lot of satisfaction helping his patients to achieve and maintain their healthy smile through the use of this technology. Among his non professional achievements that he is most proud of is rising to the rank of Eagle Scout and later serving as an Assistant District Executive with a Boy Scout council in Wisconsin. In his spare time, Jim can usually be found outside with his wife, Teresa, and daughters (and his dogs!) participating in a number of sporting activities or just enjoying all the Lake Norman area has to offer!

Dr. Caleb was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He earned both his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from the University of Michigan, where he met his wife, Sarah, who is also in the dental field as an Orthodontist. Dr. Caleb is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and is passionate about continuing education.
