Contemporary Dentistry

I am a new patient and feel incredibly blessed that I was referred to this dental office, as everyone has been wonderful! My dentist and All of the staff were very compassionate and extremely well educated. I look forward to going there regularly from now on, as I feel like I can trust them!

I had a lower denture that wouldn't stay put and causing bone loss. Knowing insurance Doesn't pay for implants and the cost being astronomical i thought I'd would be out of luck until an inheritance allowed me to finally have an option. After researching quite a bit I went to contemporary. After the initial exam and treatment plan I was quoted a price and signed the contract for 4 implants the would "stop the bone loss". Work started, had approx 2 appts when I came in for the next i was told by the office manager that I owed $4000 more because I was "misquoted". At first u refused but since I had already started the work we "settled" on 50/50. Then came the implants that were going to "save my boneloss" I had 4 put in under sedation,..when I woke up I had 2 implants side by side in the front as opposed to 1front 1 backon each side. Lets fast forward to to-day approx 7yrs later as ive just had to have 3 implants surgically removed after one literally came out w/ my denture while cleaning one morning (of course as sat) sending me to Urgent dental. I now in the midst of bone grafts and NO bottom teeth for approx 2 months, eating pureed food. The bone loss was So severe that the 2 that were still together were a fraction from breaking my jaw. So Thank You Contemporary dentists for literally lying to me, misplacing implants and taking my inheritance money as well as my smile, eat not to mention my lack of self esteem!

I’ve been going to Contemporary Dentistry for years and absolutely love it. Meri is an amazing hygienist, and Dr. Calcagno has been my trusted dentist for over 50 years. They’re both fantastic, and I recommend them without hesitation!

I traveled 3 1/2 hours to see Dr G on the advice of my dentist friend. I needed a painful cracked tooth pulled and an implant. I got the implant today, and my experience so far has been nothing but positive. They are professional, and Dr G’s calming demeanor took away any stress I had about the procedure. I’d travel again to come here!🫶🏻❤️

The first of many future visits! The staff and Dr. Palacio were amazing! They were so welcoming, kind, patient and calming. It was beyond any other dental appointment I've ever had. The 2.5 hour drive is worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
