Pediatric Dentistry & Family Orthodontics

We went for our first visit to this office after our previous office closed abruptly. Our experience was fantastic! The staff explained everything and Dr. Danny spent time answering our questions with patience. All of the staff was so kind and my kids who typically strongly dislike the dentist said how great their experience was also. So glad we found this new dentist!

I brought my 3 girls there today for the first time and I have never had a more positive dental experience in my life. My 11 year old even had to get 2 surprise fillings today, and she walked out of there saying it was the best dentist visit she’s ever had. My 3 year old is very apprehensive of doctors and not the most cooperative, and they did not only a great job of handling her, but were able to provide excellent care, was able to get X-rays and put together a wonderful plan of care for her, and my littlest just turned 1 and they were fabulous with her as well. The doctor was amazing, but I wanted to give a special shout out to Christina!!! She went above and beyond for us today, and on top of it was extremely kind, helpful, and made the entire experience exceptional. I would recommend this practice to everyone!!

Let me first start of by saying, this is probably going to be a long one. I am the mother of an autistic 6 year old that has only ever gone to this dentist 3 times in his life. I get it, my son has autism, its tough, FOR EVERYONE, including him. He doesnt understand, and he's only ever had bad experiences thus far with this particular dentist office. Today we went in for a normal routine cleaning, I will say the people upfront are lovely, the vibe is exceptional for a child going into the dentist. We were guided back to a dinosaur room (which was also adorable) and we warned the nurse that he does not do well with anyone being in his mouth and he has bitten us regularly when we attempt to check out his teeth. We asked if there was any type of thing they give autistic children to help calm their nerves and slow them down, the nurse acted like that wouldnt be any problem to check into and it was a normal thing to be asked. She left the room and the hygienist came in shortly after, she was so nice at first, and brushed his teeth normally for him and put on his fluoride, all is well! Well, then it was time to take the xray photos and my son didnt want to do it. He was avidly saying no and throwing a fit, so another lady walks in says zero words just starts going at him with her foam stick and they say we need to you to get behind him and bear hug him and hold him down and one of you has to hold his feet down. Again flailing out of our hands and arms so I finally say "I'm done, I'm not sitting here for over 15 minutes traumatizing my child, and risk someone getting hurt for just a picture" Immediately, the hygienist demeanor changes she gets mad that I dont want to further traumatize my child and walks out of the room to go get the doctor. Then the doctor walks in, Dr. DANNY, (followed by two people who dont need to be present in my overstimulated childs room) and starts to try to go at him into his mouth again and again my son is over it and not having it. So I ask very nicely "Is there anything you can give or do for autistic children to help them relax and calm?" This man looked at me like I had five heads and decided to keep saying "We dont give kids anesthesia or knock them out every 6 months for a cleaning." Which is not even close to what I asked. I asked if there was something we could give him to calm him and get rid of his anxiety. And again I'm met with basically the same answer to my question. I'm not asking you to knock my child out. I'm not asking you to give him anesthesia. I'm asking if there is anything we can do beforehand or you can give him to help calm him down. Then everyone treats us like we are wrong for asking questions and so what my child just never gets a proper dentist visit? Makes zero sense to me, and with a quick Google search and some phone calls you can find they do give autistic children things to help calm them before routine appointments. So screw your practice for making us feel so low as parents for asking questions and trying to deter anyone from getting hurt. Shame on you for wanting us to force hold our autistic child down for 15 minutes straight over a damn picture. And shame on you for promising my baby a sticker and not delivering. Safe to say we'll be finding a new dentist that has proper training for children who have special needs.

My wife brought our 3yr old daughter here yesterday. Our daughter was extremely nervous and unsure of things no matter how many times we tried to reassure her, she was scared. She saw Dr. Danny and he was so kind, patient and understanding. He truly has an amazing way of speaking to children. This office is such a great place for children, every staff member that my wife encountered was extremely professional and kind. Thank you so much for such a great experience, my daughter went from being very nervous to excited to go back!

How you going to tell someone with 2 days notice that they need to get their child in for a physical before they can have a procedure done that's been planned for over a month? Then proceed to say you're putting it down as a failed appointment!!! YOU failed to tell the parent about this until 2 days before the procedure!!! Unprofessional at best! Now the procedure can't be done. Great job...
