Valer Dental & Braces

My daughter and I had consultations for braces and invisalign at the Coors location. They took x-rays and did the 3D pictures of our teeth. I was then told we would see payment plans with and without private insurance. Well when it came time to see these "payment plans" I was presented with a pay in full option and a not paid in full option. I then proceeded to only get braces for my daughter as the invisalign option for me was 7,000 dollars. Outrageous. Then I was told patients have to go through a third party loan company called Sunbit that if approved would take care of the payment, yet I would be paying them for the loan. I went through the loan process and was approved. My daughter's braces came up to 4,500 including a bleach kit that they were charging me 300.00 for and an electronic toothbrush they were charging me 100.00. I kept asking her to remove these items and see the new pricing but she made it seem like I was asking for something impossible. So after getting approved for the loan, she told me I could do the paid in full option and save a thousand dollars. However, after looking at the payment plans through the loan company Sunbit, the interest they were going to charge me alone was double what the braces cost. I told the lady that I did not want that option because of the ridiculous amount of interest that I would be paying. I then asked about my private insurance and to see what they were willing to do. She told me that with private insurance I would pay more and that their in-house price was the best option so she did not show me any options with my insurance. I then asked to see payment options going through them and was told she couldn't show me options unless I paid a 500.00 down payment. How in the world do they think it is okay to not show patient's their payment plans before trapping them into a contract with a down payment. Never have I had to deal with that. They need a payment simulator to show options beforehand. It was so backwards there and I felt like I was being pressured into making a payment. Be careful! Companies will take your money any way they can! I will not be going back and did not pay the down payment.

I went to this clinic because I was experiencing tooth pain after biting something hard. The dentist reviewed only the X-rays and immediately recommended extracting the tooth, without performing a physical examination first. When I asked how that decision was made without examining my mouth, she then proceeded to check and realized the tooth was actually cracked and needed a crown, not an extraction. I appreciate that she apologized. However, it concerns me that such a definitive procedure was initially recommended without a complete evaluation. I decided to seek a second opinion. I’m sharing my experience to encourage other patients to ask questions and make sure they fully understand their diagnosis before agreeing to treatment.

I have started my journey with valer around 2 and half years ago for my braces. Every visit I have been to they have been so nice and are really educated. My braces come off January 30th and I am so exited for this new journey. Valer has done amazing at their job.

This place is absolutely deplorable! I really thought I liked the doctor and trusted her beyond her front office staff. Come to find out, they're all one in the same! Literally, watch out for them. I would never recommend anyone go here
