Dr. Fanning's, passion and love for his patience is over the top. He is excellent and he's committed to making sure that you're happy patient. His team from his front desk to his associates are wonderful. I recommend his office for braces not only for our youth, our young adults but even for our older adults. I had to come back and edit my review from nine years ago (see below). It is now nine years later since my introduction to Dr Fanning and after he straightened my teeth, they are still in excellent alignment to this day thanks to his perfectly placed permanent retainers and I get compliments from my Dentists all the time! Now, my two teenage sons are in their braces with Dr Fanning and he continues to provide a very personal and professional care of their teeth. His staff continues to be kind, considerate, helpful, and dedicated to their profession. I love his workplace environment, and the staff always seem happy and never rushed. We always feel welcome and they do their very best to work us in when we have schedule changes. They have always responded to us in an emergency and I even think one time Dr Fanning called me back when he was on vacation!!! Needless to say, I feel like he goes above and beyond. Dr Fanning has also been very supportive of local schools in Albuquerque. Dr Fanning will always have my highest regard, and I cannot express enough how much I recommend him to your family, anyone both young and old, who is in need of braces. I trust him implicitly, and if you go there, I’m sure you’ll have the same feeling. Thank you, team Fanning! Below is my original review from nine years ago…. Having been a patient of Dr Fanning's for a little over 2 months, he and his entire staff have given me the best possible experience I could have ever hoped for. Being in the medical profession and a second time braces patient, I can attest to the superior professionalism, expertise, care, concern and friendliness of the staff. They make sure their patients are taken care of and will work around your schedule for those unexpected adjustments. Best of all, my biggest problem teeth were practically straightened out in only 2 months! I guarantee you will have a great experience if you go there.

Competent, caring staff, incredible customer service, a beautiful and clean facility, and a fantastic doctor who truly loves what he does. I'm very happy we chose to have our daughter's braces done with Dr. Fanning and his wonderful team.

What a wonderful experience I had visiting Fanning Orthodontics! I have had my permanent retainer for 30 years and today it broke. Not needing an orthodontist since my kiddos were young , I have not paid much attention to them. I passed their location as I ran into Trader Joe’s that is right next to their location-and thought I would just check and maybe schedule an appointment. The staff was AMAZING… so helpful and accommodating. They squeezed me in and the Dr. fixed my retainer. I was there maybe a total of 40 minutes. It’s the small things like this that make your day.
