If I could put negative stars, I would. His instruments, tools, and processes are extremely dated. When I was 14, I began my journey with him. To start, we worked on getting me fitted for an expander. I went down into the basement of his office and he sat me down in the chair. He used plaster to mold to my teeth. It was extremely messy. I had plaster pouring down my throat making it difficult to breathe. After twenty minutes of trying to breathe and waiting for the plaster to dry, I had plaster all in my hair and down my neck and my throat was very sore. All the expanders I have seen have been wire. Where they hug a tooth or two on each side and come to the middle and expand that way. The expander I got fitted for was a glorified retainer. Very thick, glued and encasing four or five teeth on each side as well as glued to the roof of my mouth. I was unable to brush or floss those teeth for 9months to a year. At the end of that time, he eagerly told me it was time to remove the expander He then grabbed pliers from the drawer and took it in each side, pulled it down and in, resulting in my expander splitting in the middle, cutting and pulling skin on the roof of my mouth. I cannot even begin to describe how much it hurt. When we began the process of getting braces, the blue light tool he used to cure the glue was old. He rested it against my lip and I left that appointment with burned gums and lips. Again, the glue job was extremely messy and despite my diligent and I persistent efforts, my teeth never looked clean. The glue around the brackets looked horrible. One time he glued two of my teeth together so they could “move together.” I expressed that I couldn’t floss and he laughed at me and got in my face and told me I could floss or that it was a lack of skill. He demonstrated to me how I could floss. He yanked the floss up into my gums and back down. The floss got stuck in the glue, so. He seems like he is a good doctor I guess. He talks like he knows, but his execution is far from ideal though. He promised a lot of things, none of which came to fruition. He also has a lisp, which feels like an odd trait from an orthodontist. I still remember the first time I stepped into this office. I was 14 years old. I am 20 years old now and still am working on fixing what he didn’t do. We moved to a different orthodontist, out of necessity. The new orthodontist was beyond confused when he saw my braces saying that the equipment was dated and they couldn’t work with it. They had to remove it and put braces back on. I finally got braces off my top teeth when I was 18. My bottom teeth are still being worked on and straightened.

He gave all four kids braces and when one didn't wear his retainer he placed bottom row again. We love the Conways!!

Writing a review because of how strongly I feel. Dr. Conway is beyond smart and knowledgeable. I am an adult who had a bad bite and he was able to get me to the perfect smile, not even exaggerating. Not only did he fix my teeth but my bite and my jaw pain as well. He cares so much about his patients, he's like a perfectionist. I never had a problem with payments either. Everything was straight-forward. I strongly recommend!!

We are so thankful Dr. Conway cares about more than just straight teeth! He identified the issues we would need to address and came up with a careful, well-thought out plan to fix not just our son’s teeth, but to also improve our kiddo’s overall health in the process. He came highly recommended by two family friends, and we are so blessed to have Dr. Conway and his amazing staff treating our son. Thanks, Dr. Conway!!!

I have been a “Conway Mom” for the last 10 years with 3 children. I knew that I would not be able to send my kids to the run-of-the-mill, puberty sweat shop that I went to as a kid because of complicated mouth genetics on both sides of the family. I see the results of sub par orthodontia every day in the mirror and I wanted better for my kids. I found a smart dentist who then referred me to the smartest orthodontist in Omaha. If you want the best, you go see Conway. He is the orthodontist that trains the other dentists and orthodontists. He’s the one who bails out the orthodontists and dentists who don’t know how to fix complicated cases. Regarding money: The office manager worked tirelessly to get every penny out of my insurance which I greatly appreciated. I payed fees when my kids knocked off brackets eating candy etc. Conway has to do extra work, so there should be a fee. I payed for an extra X-ray when needed. My child was then spared an oral surgery. So I saved money big time by his attention to detail. Conway, in conjunction with our dentist, watched my youngest child for 3 years so we started her treatment when her mouth was ready. I was glad to pay $50 three separate times. Lastly, he actually cares enough to get to know your family and your kids. When you spend time in a waiting room every month for ten years, you need to like your provider and their staff. Highly recommend!
