Tend Dental Post Office Square

I tried Tend after only having one dentist for my entire life with high hopes and 0 dental anxiety. When I arrived, I was 10 min early for my appointment. I then waited 35 min past my appointment time before being taken to the back for my appointment (they did throw on a free fluoride treatment for being 35 min late). I then got into the chair for a cleaning and exam, and x-rays. The x-rays then took 35 min because the machine was malfunctioning and my hygienist didn't get help until after she had me repeat the x-rays a number of times. Finally we did the x-rays and got onto the cleaning. It seemed like this was the hygienist's first job- she didn't know about the tv that was supposed to be playing the show I selected when I made my appointment- the tv was paused and buffering the entirety of my appointment. This isn't a big issue but it is supposed to come with the "tend" experience, and I would have pursued having it fixed if I wasn't already running late. The hygienist got up and left the room 3 times during the cleaning, presumably to get things, but didn't change her gloves (I'm in medicine and they teach you to do this in front of the patient so the patient knows that you have clean hands). So based on what I saw (and I absolutely could have spoken up and I should have but I was already having a less than ideal experience). She then was a bit rough with the cleaning, and I know some of the discomfort is my fault for not having had a cleaning in a bit) but there were notable moments of discomfort. The dentist was very nice, and they did try to be accommodating to get me into seeing the endodontist same day, but quoted me around $1600-1700 with dental insurance for a root canal that I would have to have paid out of pocket and then wait for reimbursement. I am getting a second opinion, and don't think I'll be going back to tend.

I cannot say enough about my experience at Tend's post office square location. From the attentive staff at the front to the hygienists to the overall facility through to Dr. Kilichowski, ive never never felt better about dental care. I needed a crown, deep cleaning, and a couple cavities fixed. Communication of the treatment plan and cost was amazing and left no doubt about what to expect at each visit. As someone who had to fly in for each appointment, the entire staff at Tend made my visits a priority and maximized the time I spent there. I would absolutely recommend Tend dental to anyone who wants incredible dental care at a great value. I can honestly say my teeth have never felt better!

Absolutely remarkable team! I just had a root canal done and didn’t feel a thing. The atmosphere was calm and reassuring, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend this place - they genuinely care about their patients. Thank you for everything thus far.

This was my second visit to Tend and I must say I really do enjoy the service and experience that they provide! The app is super user-friendly, and I got a same day appointment which was so convenient. The office is very modern and their equipment is all state of the art. I love being able to view my dental scans on the TV screen and discuss my concerns with the team. My hygienist was lovely and so accommodating! The dentist was knowledgeable and had impeccable bedside manner. Small touches like having the brushing area available and providing a nice brush kit just make the experience top tier! I’ve lived in many places and been to many dentists over the years and this Tend practice is hands down the BEST Dentist office experience I’ve been to!!

Excellent visit once again. Cleaning & checkup this time, and Brooke did a great job again, even apologizing at one point when I asked if there was a problem and she said “no, not at all, I’m just being meticulous”. That is a great attitude and work ethic. Everyone at Tend is so professional & disciplined, yet so pleasant & friendly at the same time. Excellent combination.
