Had a great experience! Not only was my procedure smooth and efficient, but Dr. Brown and Lori were incredibly welcoming. I felt very comfortable consulting with them about my issue, and the staff there in general was super helpful and kind. It was great to be around a passionate staff. Dr. Brown’s been doing this for like 50+ years, and it’s evident she enjoys it

Boston Orthodontics is hands down one of the top orthodontic practices in the city. Dr. Patricia Brown and her entire team go above and beyond to make every visit a great experience. The office is modern, spotless, and efficiently run you’re greeted with a smile the moment you walk in. Dr. Brown’s professionalism, skill, and warmth make you feel confident and cared for throughout your treatment. She listens, explains everything clearly, and truly takes pride in her patients’ results. The entire Boston Orthodontics staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. I had an extremely negative experience with seeing Dr. Brown. To start, the only positive part of the experience was the kind front desk worker Lorri, she was amazing. Dr. Brown took 40 minutes past my appointment time to see me, and I was early. She seemed extremely unsure of her work and gave off patronizing energy. She also was snarky to her front desk worker right in front of me, which was extremely inappropriate. Additionally, she charges $50 for a consult that lasted about 4 minutes, complete scam and WASTE of money. Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Brown to anyone in the area, I'd rather pull my own teeth.

I had a broken retainer and Dr. Brown did an excellent job at making me comfortable and most importantly at fixing my retainer. Laurie at the front desk made sure to get me in as soon as possible and was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Dr Brown and her office.

The receptionist, Lori/Laura(?), who answers the phone was very rude and unwelcoming. I am new to Boston and recently got my own Massachusetts insurance plan. Today, I experienced some dental issues and was going back and forth between my insurance and different orthodontist offices. I called this place 2x to clarify out of pocket expenses and to ask about insurance coverage. I was not able to speak without being interrupted, but Lori made me aware of Mass policies regarding approval and coverage for orthodontic care. I got back on the phone with my insurance and they informed me of another way to get coverage that would require some paperwork. I felt bad to call Dr. Brown's office again, but I was hoping to ask about this option. Unfortunately, as soon as I introduced myself as the person who Lori was speaking to before, she immediately stated "Go find another orthodontist" without letting me finish my sentence. She said this twice in a hostile tone so I hung up on her because I was appalled by her response. I understand if me calling multiple times was frustrating for her, but I was a potential patient seeking care and I apologized for calling so many times. Maybe my lack of knowledge regarding dental insurance policies and orthodontic care was annoying for her to deal with, but I was not rude with her so I am shocked that she responded in such a nasty manner. I was desperate for urgent care and I felt that every time I called she was desperate to get me off the phone. There will be people who call who are not aware of all the policies and rules, but these people still deserve patience and understanding. I was able to find another orthodontist and thankfully, their front desk representative treated me with much more respect and dignity.
