My experience at Maine Orthodontist was disappointing from start to finish. Unfortunately, the level of care I received did not meet my expectations. The entire process of removing my braces felt rushed, and the final result left me unhappy. My retainer was poorly made—it sat too high and constantly rubbed against my gums, making it uncomfortable to wear. I did not go back because of not wanting any further contact. One of the most upsetting parts of my experience was when my braces were removed without my parents being notified. When they questioned why they hadn't been contacted, the male orthodontist laughed in their faces instead of addressing their concerns professionally. His demeanor was dismissive and inappropriate, which left a lasting negative impression on my family. Years later, I sought treatment from another orthodontic practice in Falmouth, and the difference was night and day. From the friendliness of the staff to the quality of care and attention to detail, the experience was far superior in every way. They corrected issues that should have been handled properly the first time and showed what a patient-centered practice should look like. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Maine Orthodontist. I wish I had chosen a different provider from the beginning.

Two of my kids receive care here, and we love everything about it. Both the admin and professional staff go above and beyond to be kind and accommodating, and they are current with the latest technologies. We highly recommend this office!

While on a short vacation in OOB, it was discovered that my 13 year old, who is not a patient here, forgot his tension elastics for his braces back in Massachusetts. I googled local orthodontists in the area and phoned Maine Orthodontics to ask for advice. They kindly offered a couple of bags of elastics at no charge. What a great courtesy and accommodating and pleasant group! Thank you!

Everyone in this office is extremely nice to deal with! From the receptionists to the dental assistants and both Drs. Shuman & Rezzaghi. I just got my braces off in May, and I’m very happy with the results! This place is fantastic!

Maine Orthodontics has provided wonderful service to our family over the last decade. I called yesterday to get new retainers and they fit my son in for a visit today and we pick up his new retainers tomorrow. Excellent, friendly, and prompt service.
