I recently had an orthodontic appointment at Louisiana Dental Center St. Claude, and I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for my orthodontic assistant, Dee (Donia). Having worn braces about eight years ago in my teenage years at a different practice, I do not recall the same level of discomfort as I have experienced in these most recent visits. However, Dee completely changed my perspective on orthodontic care. During my appointment, Dee was exceptionally gentle and attentive as she skillfully applied each rubber band to the brackets. Her patience and ease of movement made a significant difference in my comfort level throughout the procedure. Dee took the time to observe and ask me questions, ensuring that I was comfortable every step of the way. What truly stood out to me was her dedication to maintaining a clean and organized workspace while providing her full attention to me. She minimized interruptions and focused on delivering quality care instead of rushing through the process. Unlike my previous appointments, where I always left in pain, this time I was pleasantly surprised to leave without any discomfort. I want to express my gratitude to Dee for her professionalism and caring approach. Her skills and demeanor reflect what every patient hopes for in their orthodontic experience. The dental industry could certainly benefit from more individuals like her, as she demonstrates the perfect balance of technical expertise and genuine care. I truly hope Dee's career flourishes as she continues to advance in this field, as she is undeniably deserving of every success that comes her way. Her dedication and compassion toward her patients set her apart, and I am confident she will make a significant impact in the world of orthodontics. They take healthy blue. I went for filling and cleaning but told me i should get my last wisdom tooth pulled out. So i decided to do that so i don't have to ever worry about wisdom teeth problems instead of cleaning. They filled my tooth quick i only had one cavity. As they were taking my wisdom tooth there was puss coming out so i caught it in great time. They did all that in my visit very very quick, friendly, and professional. I didn't pay anything.

All the employees that I came in contact with are so welcoming and kind. They go far and beyond! They care about you as a person. They will make sure your comfortable.

Edit: I received my occlusal guard and a refund for my out of pocket expenses. I want to thank Brittany for her recovery efforts and taking the time to sit down with me to talk about my experience. A little communication goes a very long way. I’m not sure I will return to LDC in the future, but I do feel that if I did, it would be a better experience. I can only give them 3 stars bc of all the things I experienced. I also feel like the staff is not super friendly, or maybe they don’t like their job. That was just the vibe I got. Others may have been welcomed with a smile. Thank you again Brittany for following through and doing what you said you would. I really appreciate it. This review is for the St. Claude location only, as this is the only office of theirs I have been to. My experience started in October 2025. Went in for a check up, routine cleaning. Everything went fine. Dentist suggested an occlusal guard. Had impressions made, was told it would be 10-14 business days, they would call me when it was in. Several weeks went by, no call. I started calling them in November to see where my night guard was. I called several times, left multiple voicemails, nobody ever called me back. I had to physically drive to the office to speak to someone about where my night guard was. Spoke to someone who said she would contact the company and call me back that day. Never heard from anyone. We are now in December. I start calling the office again, to my shock and amazement someone actually answered the phone. I was told, again, someone would call me back about the status of my night guard. Someone did call me back and told me that my impressions were lost (we don’t know where or when) and that I would need to come back in for more. Made another appointment (it’s now been 3 months) and went for 9 am and sat there for 45 minutes with no updates or explanations as to why I’m still sitting there. I decided at that point to cancel my appointment and ask for a refund of the money I had to pay out of pocket that insurance didn’t cover. I was told they would have to contact HR and get a paper check for me since it had been so long (since October). Awesome. It would be another 14 business days for that and, you guessed it, someone would call me. Well guess what? Nobody called me. We are now in January 2026 and I start calling again, multiple times. I got a hold of someone who said someone else would call me back. Shocking I know. I did get a phone call a week later and was asked to come in for digital impressions this time. I agreed because they already had my money and insurance wouldn’t cover another guard. I returned this morning for digital impressions. Someone will call me when my night guard is in. 😐 I’m not holding my breath. Wish me luck. I do not recommend this company. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

First visit was very good . Everyone was so nice,kind and had a smile 😃.
