Kyler Orthodontics - Baton Rouge

I’m extremely disappointed with how much the level of customer service has declined throughout my treatment. I have invested thousands of dollars into my treatment and am now fully paid up, so to feel as though the level of care and professionalism has changed is very frustrating. Today, I called a few hours before my 5:00 PM appointment because I recently started a new job and needed to reschedule. I spoke with Ms. Crystal, and while I was trying to find an appointment that would work with my new work schedule, I was repeatedly told what was not available. I finally asked if she could simply tell me what appointments were available instead of continuing to tell me what wasn’t. What was even more disappointing was the way the conversation was handled after I expressed that I did not appreciate how I was being spoken to. Rather than acknowledging my concern, the interaction became increasingly combative, with responses such as, “Well, that’s what I’m trying to do,” and “Well, if you give me a second.” The tone was unnecessary and, in my opinion, unprofessional. I completely understand that appointment availability is limited. I did not expect the office to create an appointment for me or work entirely around my schedule. I simply expected to be given the available options and to be spoken to respectfully while trying to reschedule. What makes this especially unfortunate is that I genuinely like Dr. Kyler as my orthodontist and have been pleased with the orthodontic care I’ve received from him. My concern is with the customer service and the noticeable shift in the way I feel I’ve been treated by members of the office staff. I don’t know what has caused the change in energy or communication toward me, but I have noticed it, and I do not appreciate feeling as though I’m being treated differently. After investing thousands of dollars and a significant amount of time into my treatment, I expect the same level of professionalism, respect, and customer service throughout my entire treatment—not just in the beginning or before my balance was paid. I really hate that I’ve reached the point of leaving this review because, again, I do like Dr. Kyler and the orthodontic care he provides. However, the way patients are treated by the office staff is also a major part of the overall experience, and today’s interaction was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be addressed.

Amazing work and even more amazing staff. The process took some time but the end result is so rewarding and satisfying to look at. I wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

I highly recommend Kyler Orthodontics in Baton Rouge! From the moment you walk in, the receptionists and the entire staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes every visit a breeze. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves coming here. He thinks Dr. Kyler is 'so cool,' and I couldn't agree more, he is professional, patient, and truly great with kids. If you’re looking for a team that is both highly skilled and genuinely nice, this is the place to go.

Dr. Kyler's expertise is outstanding; from the moment I stepped in for my assessment, he took the time to inform me about every aspect of my treatment. It's been 4 months since l started, and the staff's warm reception makes every visit pleasant. I’ve been going to Kyler Orthodontics for almost two years and every visit has been great. The staff is super friendly, remembers little things about you, and everyone is always so nice. Dr. Kyler is awesome. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and is really easy to talk to. Sometimes we even end up chatting about LSU games or just random stuff while he checks my teeth. I’ve never had any problems, and honestly, it’s been the best orthodontic experience I could ask for.
