UK HealthCare - Turfland

I went to this UK clinic today and had a great experience! They said the wait would be over an hour, but we got called back less than 10 minutes of waiting. The nicest lady came in and checked my vitals and was incredibly calming and reassuring. I mean the best I’ve ever received in the doctors! I have anxiety and she said “We are here to help you, and if we can’t we have friends who can!” I mean just 10/10!! The Dr was amazing she was straight to the point without any feelings of being rushed or ignored. I will 100% be coming here from now on! I was out in less than an hour including the time I waited at the pharmacy! Also the building was very clean and inviting!

We've been a UK regular since my daughter was born 8 yrs ago. I'll be looking into other options now. We see neuro on a regular basis but had never been to this clinic. The people are unfriendly and not helpful at all. There are no signs upon entering to even tell if you at the correct building. We were 20 min late due to trying to locate where we were supposed to be(multiple entrances) so only 5 min past their grace period. They refused to see us and even refused to tell us they weren't seeing us. Just gave us a number to call and told the poor guy at registration to hand it to us with no explanation. So he didn't even know what was going on.. Worst experience I've had with UK neuro to date. Not one indication there is even neuro in the building.

I've been to the UK Healthcare - Turfland specifically to Plastic Surgery Clinic a half dozen times to see Dr Henry Vasconez. Great parking. Easy check in on 2nd floor. Have only had to wait a few minutes 1 time. Great professional staff. They really seem concerned for your well being. Having breast cancer is overwhelming enough but Dr Vasconez really put me at ease. I have nothing but good things to say about the Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Came here for years while I was at UK, great doctors but their billing practices are ridiculous, charging as outpatient when they label things in mychart differently. It’s sleazy, but they apparently have signs up so I guess that makes it ‘ok’.

The UK clinic is convenient and modern. So much better than the on campus location. Staff is friendly and service is always prompt. Not a fan of doctors, but this is as good as it gets if you need one.
