Starting Point Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

Tried to get my son seen for his toothache. They were only willing to schedule an appointment for cleaning and evaluation. If they determine after doing x-ray that he needs treatment they would schedule a "restorative" appointment and the earliest of those available was more than a month out in late October. He is feeling pain now! Seems like every pediatric dentistry is the same these days. You have to have 2 appointments in order to get the treatment your child needs. Edit 9/26/25. Responding to the response from the establishment; There was nothing ambiguous in our 9 minute conversation. After some back and forth I asked what would happen if after evaluation it was determined that my son's tooth needed to be taken out. I was told that a restorative appointment would be needed and the earliest available was October 27th (1 month away). I told them this doesn't work for me and said goodbye. I then called Leblanc. They scheduled us for an appointment the following day. The dentist there looked at the x-ray and took the baby tooth out about 20 minutes later. No cleaning, no separate evaluation appointment. We were out of there in less than an hour.

Starting point is amazing! My kids have been going here since day 1 and I'm so glad we found them. Office ladies/doctors are super nice and friendly and just all around a great experience every time we walk through the doors. 10/10 recommend for a great comfortable experience for your child.

Starting Point Dental has been a great place for our 5 kids! The staff is great at meeting them where they are, explaining things as they go, checking in with their patients at each step and showing care and compassion. We use both their dental and orthodontics services. Both Doctors are kind and take their time with each patient. With three locations, scheduling appointments are relatively easy. We highly recommend them!

My toddler and I love our experiences at Starting Point Dental! Dr. Loseke and the hygienists do amazing work with even the youngest of patients. They explain and show what they are doing to help my son get comfortable and answer questions in a straightforward manner for parents. The staff are quick, while pleasant, which is much appreciated when your arms are full. Starting Point makes dentist appointments fun for the kids and low-stress for parents: a win-win!

Our routine visits are always great. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and patient. Recently, we had a visit for teeth extraction and it could not have gone better. They did an excellent job preparing my child for what would happen, ensured pain was minimal and provided distraction during the procedure. Highly recommend this practice!
