I usually don’t have a positive experience with orthodontists, but after using this one for over two years, I can highly recommend them. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Pakravan and his exceptional team. As an adult, I was seeking orthodontic treatment to address my mouth gaps. From scheduling appointments to the process of getting braces on, everything was seamless and hassle-free. Dr. Pakravan and his team took the time to explain my treatment plan in real-life terms, ensuring that I had clear expectations. They also utilized modern technology and provided me with a realistic preview of the final outcome. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making it easy to reschedule appointments or provide any necessary information.

I am extremely upset and feel completely misled by this office. We were referred here by our family dentist and have been coming for almost two years. At no point during consultations or prior visits were we clearly told that this office does NOT accept Medicaid. The day they put braces on my daughter, only AFTER the braces were already placed, we were suddenly informed they do not accept Medicaid and were presented with a payment plan totaling nearly $8,000. This should have been disclosed clearly BEFORE any treatment began. It is unacceptable to perform an expensive procedure first and only then inform a parent that insurance is not accepted. After speaking with another parent, I learned she also was not clearly given pricing information upfront. That raises serious concerns about transparency. Parents deserve full disclosure of insurance participation and total cost before treatment starts — especially for something as significant as orthodontic care. I strongly encourage other parents to ask for written confirmation of insurance acceptance and full pricing before agreeing to any procedure.

I decided to perfect my smile as an adult and I’m so glad I did. Windy City Ortho in Lakeview is so nice! It’s a clean and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. All the staff are nice but Angelica goes above and beyond! She helped me feel comfortable and confident in choosing this location for my care. From selecting my treatment to making me feel welcomed at each visit, Angelica answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with my results. My smile is perfect now and I couldn’t be happier with my care 💗

Windy City has been great! My 8yo daughter got braces and an expander, and Dr. Pakravan and his staff took amazing care of her! They did such a great job that she got them off in half the time that we expected her to! Sam is my daughter’s favorite tech, and she is super personable and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your orthodontic needs!

I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with dentists, and after moving and left searching for a new dental office, I was hesitant to try a new place. However, after a close friend recommended Windy City, I decided to take the drive and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how content I was with my visit. The location is clean, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing, but more than anything, I was taken aback by the customer service. I was personally taken care of by Angelica, and she made it feel like I was there with a friend. She was knowledgeable, assuring, patient (I ask a million questions), and very efficient. I usually don’t commit to follow up appointments, but I’ve already scheduled my 6 month!
