Westcoast Brace & Limb

I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Brace & Limb Westcoast location! Transitioning to a new brace can be overwhelming, but Philip and Mrs. Sharolee made the entire process seamless and joyful. Not only was the clinical care top-notch, but they also took the time to teach me truly important things about my new brace to ensure I feel confident using it. They treated me with so much smiles and love—it felt more like visiting family than a medical appointment. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for professional expertise delivered with genuine heart!

I had my first-ever appointment with Westcoast Brace and Limb in St. Pete on Mon Feb. 2. I usually don't write reviews after one visit, but my experience with receptionist Laura and specialist Nick warrant praise. I had called the office to see if I could come in early on my appointment date to fill out patient info vs doing it online, where I am rarely successful. However, it was so bitter cold on Feb. 2, I attempted to fill out the online form to avoid having to go out in the cold earlier than necessary. After completing it more than 60 percent, it vanished from my screen. When I expressed my frustration to Laura, she asked for my phone and somehow retrieved the form AND finished filling it out on my behalf and never showing impatience. Nick, who was to measure me for a back brace, took me before my actual appointment time. When I saw the brace my medical facility had written a script for, I told Nick it simply woudn't help me. It was designed for the lower back. Of the 6 compound fractures of my spine suffered in 2024, four were in the upper back (thorssic) section. Nick respected my concern and offered an alternative that looks like it will be perfect. Unfortunately, my medical facility had sent a vague script and also focused entirely on the lower vertebrae. He gave me precise information to take back to my PCP so a new and more accurate script could be submitted. While he searched for a picture of a brace that would support my entire back, I shared that I did not want a brace that felt like a bulky bullet-proof vest worn by law enforcement and that jammed a supposedly protective part up against my throat--the brace issued to me by the hospital back in 2024, and which I could not tolerate wearing. Again. Nick listened and did not judge my complaint as frivolous.. I DO look forward to receiving a comfortable and supportive brace in the near future Kudos to Laura and Nick for their assistance and patience. --Jean Mlincek

Very happy with the company and the care they put in to their patients care. They are always on top of their work and show a lot of dedication to the work they do. Im very happy. We had a great experience with the team at West Coast Brace & Limb! My son was fitted with a STARband helmet to correct plagiocephaly, and we really enjoyed working with Rachel S. the last 6 months. She is so kind and considerate, and our appointments were always a breeze. My son was always happy to see her too! Thank you for helping our little one and for everything your team does for people throughout the community.

My daughter needed a lift for one shoe to help with hip and back pain. Laura Edita was was very patient and careful to be sure she had the correct measurement. She is very happy with the finished shoe. Thank you.
