Dr. Soliman is truly exceptional! She is extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciate how she presents the best treatment options and makes sure I feel confident and informed in every decision. Appointments are always timely, and her communication is outstanding from start to finish. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their long-term dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Soliman to anyone looking for an excellent dentist!
Hi, I have been going to this place for more than three years, and Dr. Soliman is truly the best dentist ever. I visited many dentists before, but I never felt comfortable with anyone until I met Dr. Soliman. She is polite, kind, and caring. She always takes the time to explain everything to me and does what makes me feel comfortable while considering my teeth condition and sensitivity. I highly recommend Dr. Soliman to anyone. Also, the hygienist, Maggie, is truly wonderful.
I have been a patient at St Pete Dental for over 12 years now, since I moved to the area. I was recommended by a coworker and told to ask for the hygienist Mindy Warren. Now, I tell everyone who expresses even the slightest unhappiness with their dentist about Mindy…she is incredible! I hated my twice-yearly cleanings, never had a good experience or walked away thinking my day had improved. Mindy makes every visit feel like I’m catching up with a friend, while also getting a thorough cleaning. She has such a wealth of knowledge that makes being in the chair of fly by, explaining in easy, fun ways why plaque builds up (affectionately calling them barnacles) and how the best care for your teeth. Because of her guidance and non-judgmental patience, I haven’t had a single cavity since I started with her. I proudly floss every day, whereas before I was one of the many who fibbed when asked. When I mentioned a TMJ flareup, Mindy remembers to the month when I had my last one…only looking at notes to confirm she was correct. I cannot express how happy I am with her; in fact, I refuse to visit another hygienist.
Beware of their treatment plans and ability to work through billing and insurance issues. I had a procedure done in October, agreed to the procedure only after their treatment coordinator called my insurance company and then came in and gave me a treatment plan and said my portion would be $94, that seemed reasonable, so I paid $94 that day. Ever since then I've been playing phone tag, they submitted the claims to dental when for this procedure it was supposed to go to medical, which they should've known because their treatment coordinator had asked me for my medical insurance card when he was calling to do the plan. Trying to get them to resubmit the claims has been a nightmare. After several rounds of calls they finally submitted one of the two bills to medical insurance in December but the other one is still sitting out there as denied by dental. Meanwhile I'm getting constant emails saying I have an outstanding balance of $1000 - that's over 10 times what they told me I'd owe! It's impossible to get in touch with someone who can actually get this resolved. They're always with a patient and they say they'll call me back, they don't - I have to keep calling and hounding them. I've been taking detailed notes of all of my calls - hoping maybe posting a review here gets their attention. It's 2/6 and I've been calling them back and forth since early December. I'm just trying to get this resolved and get it back to my portion being the $94 I was told initially, which I already paid.
If I could give less stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE. Do not waste your time or your money. I was in need of a tooth removal for a broken tooth and needed a place with financing. Dr Soliman did the removal. I have red hair and require more numbing and bleed more. Any doctor should know this. It’s like she wouldn’t believe me that I could feel everything that was going on. She broke the tooth at the gum line then said ok we’re going to take a break. I said can I please have more numbing so it can kick in while your away she said no. My pain then went from a 7 out of 10 to a 9.9 out of 10. I have had two natural unmediated births and this was worse than both of those combined. I’m guessing because the nerve was just exposed and dangling. They then came back in I explained that I was in a great ammout of pain but they did not seem to care. They shot cold water on the area and I jumped almost out of the chair. I wanted to start swinging. That is when my fight/ flight: fawn kicked in. The assistant goes that was just water and I started sobbing and said well that hurt me very badly. Realizing that it was too far into the process to just walk out the door I asked for more of the numbing stuff and a moment to wrap my mind about what was about to go down. I put in my head phones and got ready for the rest of the removal. It took hours. It was excruciating. My whole body was shaking. I wasn’t thinking clearly. She said are you still in pain I said yes but I just want this over. I was inconsolable. She blamed it on my long Roots. Whatever the case may be they were not helpful or understanding. The pain never went away. 4 days later I went back for a check up appointment. She said it’s dry socket and refused to do anything except give me a different prescription. There was a Dental Hygienist that was filling in for someone at the office that day that helped me more than the dentist. She told me what to do and how to take care of it. I understand the dry socket is probably my fault because I smoke. ESP when I’m stressed and in pain and I was tortured.. But the bone was exposed when I left the office the first day. The Hygienist told me to get another dentist because this one refused to do anything to help me. Even if you look it up on google it says for dry socket they will clean it and treat it but not Dr. Soliman. She seems to have some sort of power complex with no empathy for her patients. If you made it this far please I’m begging you do not go here. Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before coming here and that’s another mistake I made in this process. I’m looking into medical malpractice lawyers. I have a lot of bad teeth but this is exactly why I’m scared to go to the dentist. To the office.. there is nothing you can do or say to me to make me stop unless you want to cover and reimburse me for the pain and suffering you have allowed me to endure while in your care. Update it’s been two weeks and I’m still having problems I’ve had 4 shards of bone leave and there’s more going to come out. Absolutely ridiculous please don’t make the same mistake I did by coming here.
