Edgewater Family Dentistry

I had a wonderful experience at Edgewater Family Dentistry. Dr. Amberlin Spacca was extremely thorough, caring, and professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The front desk staff was also welcoming and helpful, and Maria and Marta were both incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. The entire team provides excellent service and truly makes you feel cared for. I highly recommend Edgewater Family Dentistry!

I had an emergency and called around, but Edgewater got me in. I mean they had good reviews, they just didn't pop up right away. The staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable....... I mean really nice people. I definitely will use them for future visits. In case you're wondering why I didn't call my regular... Yeah, we don't live here yet. We come down regularly though.

Today was my first time at Edgewater Family Dentistry. I found the entire staff to be warm, welcoming and thorough. Alex, at the front desk greeted me warmly and later explained the process and payment options. Martha, the dental technician, took my X-rays and showed me exactly what was she was seeing in my mouth with my teeth and gums. She was gentle and reassuring. The dentist, (whose name I’ve forgotten), explained all her concerns about my teeth/gums and went over the priorities and planned steps for proper treatment. She used a topical numbing gel on my gums prior to the in-depth cleaning. The office appears to be run exclusively by women, which is a welcome added bonus! I am thoroughly impressed and I highly recommend this convenient Dental Office, on Del Prado South, in the plaza between Fins and Point57 Restaurants).

Today was my first visit and right off the bat I was treated with respect and compassion. Staff, Doctor and dental assistant Martha were professional and attentive. Marta did an amazing job with the cleaning and she was very gentle and caring. I was impressed with the way I was treated because I’ve been to so many different dentist offices but never one like this one. After my cleaning Martha cleaned my face up and applied lip palm to my lips since you know your lips get chapped at the dentist. She went above and beyond I am so happy with my experience. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and I’m excited to come back for my next appointment!

A few months ago, Dr. Spacca started treating me, and at that time I needed extensive dental work. I had missing teeth, multiple cavities, gum disease, and several other dental problems that were affecting my health and confidence. Dr. Spacca completely transformed my oral health. She treated my gum disease, removed all my cavities, and saved teeth that I thought I might lose. The extraction she performed was completely painless, and throughout every procedure she made me feel comfortable and cared for. She also placed dental implants, and the results have been amazing. My implants were a complete success, and now I can eat comfortably on every side of my mouth again. I no longer have food getting trapped in the gaps where my missing teeth used to be. Dr. Spacca explained why implants were the best option for me because they function like natural teeth, and I can floss normally without any problems. What impressed me the most is how much she genuinely cares about her patients. She personally followed up with me, called to check on how I was feeling, and scheduled follow-up visits to make sure everything was healing properly. Today, my mouth is healthy, I am pain-free, and I can eat anything I want with confidence. Most importantly, I can smile again without feeling self-conscious because I no longer have missing teeth. Dr. Spacca truly has gifted hands. She is a 10 out of 10, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dentist. Knowing that she speaks Spanish also made me feel very comfortable, safe, and understood throughout my treatment. If you are considering dental treatment, you are in the right hands with Dr. Spacca.
