Healthy Smiles of Delaware

This used to be my dentist years ago when I was younger and I always get chills thinking back to it. I once had a cavity and Dr. Sweeney wouldn’t numb me properly and I could feel every bit of them drilling in my mouth (that was the last time I ever went to his office). He’s very strange man, never gave advice on how to improve oral health, barely said hello when coming to the chair. In comparison to the dentist I’ve been going to since I left Dr. Sweeney’s practice idk how this place is still running. When I got my wisdom teeth out I met a hygienist that used to work for him and even she said he was creepy. 0/10 don’t recommend coming to this practice.

I had a great first visit with Dr. Sweeney at Healthy Smiles of Delaware! The front desk team was so kind and welcoming which really set the tone for the appointment. Judy, the hygienist, was amazing. She was super thorough and very knowledgeable, but what I appreciated most was how she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. She made me feel comfortable and did a fantastic job. Overall, it was a really positive, easy experience.

Everyone was so kind and helpful and answered all the questions I had no problem. Extremely welcoming environment! As someone who is highly afraid of dentists and the whole situation I do highly recommend this practice to anyone searching for a new dentist. Everyone in the front office was super sweet and knowledgeable as well as the personnel that work in the back!!

Dr. Sweeney is the best. Explains what's going on, makes understand and helps you to choose the best option. The staff is professional but friendly, everything is clear and no surprises. Honesty lives here.
