As someone visiting a dentist in another country for the first time, I was honestly a bit nervous, but from the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. It was actually the first time I’ve ever had a cleaning with absolutely no pain at all! A special thank you to Elizabeth, who was incredibly kind and welcoming ☺️ She really took the time to listen to me, gave helpful advice, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for professional and compassionate dental care.

This is a really wonderful dental office. My dentist is great and explains everything to me before she does anything. The assistant tries to make me as comfortable as possible! The woman who takes care of billing, always trying to make things workable for you, is a sweetheart!! Overall this place is very wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone in the New Haven area!

I am grateful to be a patient at New Haven dental. They have always been professional and have a warm way of interacting with you. There appointments always run smoothly. I’m in and out without a hitch. They are also good clinicians. They give really great input on your oral care and appear very knowledgeable. I also like that they are interconnected with the endodontist in the building so that you can get quick referrals. I’ve only worked with Dr. kern and Dr. Gargi but both are really great. I enjoy how personable and thorough Dr. Gargi is.

The actual time with Dr. Mir was fantastic. He was kind and reassuring. His assistant, Prince, was very caring and attentive to my mom and patient with her hearing impairment and mobility issues. As for trying to schedule the appointment, it was a nightmare. There was a lack of follow up from my initial call. Records had to be sent twice because they could not locate them. And then the day of the visit, Prince had to approach the front desk to ask for the referral, which was not in the system with the rest of the information. Then while sitting in the waiting room, another dentist or worker came out and was talking to a patient in detail about his financial options and treatment plan, which I believe is a breach of HIPPA. I was very uncomfortable. Then, upon leaving, I was asked to pay the bill upfront. None of this had been explained to me when I finally was able to make the appointment. I had called the insurance company and made sure the doctor was in-network myself. When they called to confirm the appointment, they only told me there was a $50 deposit needed to secure the appointment. None of the financial expectations were explained to me. This is one of the worst office administrations I have ever seen. I called regarding the status of the claim at the insurance company and I was looking for my refund. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Weeks passed and I still did not heard anything from them. I finally called AGAIN about my refund. The manager answered and apologized she had never heard about the problem. The credit had been sitting there! Then she assured me the $500+ that I paid would be refunded to my card. I asked that they refund by check because I paid the card balance off as I do all the time. She assured me she would handle it. Well, it was still refunded to my card. Now I have a huge credit on my card and not the refund by check. I am more than exasperated. At least they're consistent with one thing...Poor customer service! Stay away!

Elizabeth is the best hygienist I’ve ever had! She’s incredibly friendly, thorough, and professional with cleanings. She also took the time to give me helpful tips on proper brushing and flossing techniques. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend her!
