The very best orthodontist office I could’ve sent my kids to. Everyone is always so friendly, everything is very clean, & my kids have had great results. We moved away from Lakewood but still return for treatment because the service is amazing.

As much as I never wanted braces, and didn't love having them (who would?), Dr. Lukens and her whole team made the experience absolutely as pleasant as it could possibly be! They are ALL lovely people, and seemed genuinely happy to see me at every appointment. They cared about my comfort, kept me informed at every step, were available to me anytime I had a question or an issue, and in the end, gave me a wonderful smile that I feel great about! Highly recommended!

I like Dr Hardy as a person but unfortunately my personal experience was really negative. I was told the issues I wanted fixed with my teeth could be fixed with Invisalign. In my opinion there was a point where it was clearly not working, but I kept being told 6 more months. Then after ~4 years it was suggested I get braces instead. As an adult professional this felt horrifying to hear. At this point I consulted 7 other orthodontists for a second opinion and all told me that, based on their assessment, Invisalign would not have been an appropriate option for the treatment goals I was seeing Dr Hardy for. At this point I discontinued services. Dr Hardy did refund my money and handled it very professionally. Like I said I like him, just in my opinion he was not the right fit for my complicated adult case. I'm now finishing up orthodontics with another provider and have been in orthodontics for 5+ years in total as a result of all of this. From what I remember, the initial timeframe was supposed to be 2-3 years. Also like others mentioned, I felt appointment scheduling was difficult and often attachments would fall off and I was unable to get an appointment to fix them for days. Also to me it also seemed like there was pretty regular staff turnover like others have mentioned. This was just my experience and I discontinued services in 2024 so things could have changed since then.
