LA Dental Braces San Diego

I’m almost done with my Invisalign treatment here and have had a really positive experience so far. From the very beginning, Elsy has been welcoming, professional, and thorough in explaining each step of the process, which has made starting Invisalign feel much less intimidating. While my treatment isn’t finished yet, I’m very happy with how everything has been going and feel confident I’m in good hands. I’m looking forward to seeing the final results and would definitely recommend this office to anyone considering Invisalign.

Edit: I absolutely loved Dr. Wynn, when he retired his patients were recommended here (a completely different office). The new staff is who I had a problem with. I came here in 2020-21 as a former patient of Dr. Wynn and had many frustrating appointments. I first made an appointment because my metal retainers had broken. When I called, they said they had none of my records from the previous practice, so great, we’re starting at square one. They took a new scan of my teeth and made new Invisalign retainers for me. They scheduled my pickup appointment without telling me, so when they called and asked when I would be there I had no idea what was going on. They made me reschedule my pickup (why couldn’t it just be something where I pop in, I don’t know) I was without retainers for at least two weeks, which did not feel great on my teeth. I also signed up to have a second, shorter round of braces- 5 sets of Invisalign, if I recall. This took over a year, despite my previous 32 sets taking about 2 years. My biggest issue was in my final appointment, when they were supposed to take the bumps off of my teeth, they spent over an hour grinding them off (I had 5 or 6 total, all in the front) and had to surprisingly grind off the tiniest part of the back of one of my incisors in order to fit the post-braces Invisalign retainer. Not only that, but the person doing this seemed a bit nervous, and he told me it was his first day and he had never really done this before. Awesome. One of my appointments was supposed to be a quick pick-up of either my next sets or my final retainers, I can’t quite remember. Even though I had an appointment at 9 am, I was sat waiting outside the office until 9:20 when a woman finally arrived and said that she had trouble getting her kid to school. I understand that things happen, but in that 20 minute time, I had 2 neighboring practices ask me if I needed something. I told them I was waiting on LA Dental, and they said “oh yeah they’re typically 30 minutes late so hopefully you’ll see them soon.” I know these appointments were a while ago, but I didn’t think about how terrible my experience was until someone recently told me about their not so great experience there and all the memories came back. Hopefully things have changed with time.

Elsy helped me and has very fast and courteous. She was very clear with the process and friendly. The process with scheduling the appointment online was easy and they provided all the registration documents online . Would definitely recommend

I’ve had an amazing experience here! Elsy has been very thorough and knowledgeable with everything she does. She’s fun to talk to and also did my daughters first cleaning as well.

I’ve been in 3 months of process and already see good result on my teeth. Im so excited and happy with my treatment. Love this place. Everything is going great
