Dentique Cosmetic Dentistry Studio

I have been a patient at Dentique for almost 5 years now and I could not recommend them enough. The office is beautiful with very updated, top of the line equipment that makes you feel like you’re getting a first class treatment. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The dental hygienists have educated me so much on my teeth and dental hygiene, which has improved my teeth and habits immensely since seeing them.

Dentique is truly a one-of-a-kind office specializing in both cosmetic dentistry and regular dental stuff (cleanings, etc.) I’ve been going here for about 2 years now, and I could not be happier with the service I have been getting. The office is absolutely beautiful and feels more like a fancy spa than a dental office. Everyone who works there (they have an all female staff) goes way above and beyond to provide exceptional care in the kindest, most comforting way possible. Nadia, the hygienist, is truly special and I would travel hundreds of miles just to have her clean my teeth, if I had to! Recently, I had a “deep cleaning” done, and I went into the office absolutely terrified of the procedure based on everything I had heard/read online. Nadia was incredibly comforting throughout the whole time and made me feel so much calmer than I ever thought would be possible. As an added bonus, she also is extremely gentle and was able to do the whole procedure with just a topical anesthetic. Every patient has different needs, and that may not be possible for every person – but I was shocked how painless and easy this “scary” procedure was in my case. I will caution that because they really do care about the health of your teeth, gums, and bones – they will likely recommend procedures and things that while really important and helpful to maintaining your overall oral health, they likely will not be covered by most dental insurance plans. Most dental insurance plans only cover the bare minimum, unfortunately. So while this may not be the cheapest dentist in town, I truly believe it’s the absolute best and you absolutely get what you pay for!

I'm truly grateful for finding Dentique and have been very pleased and impressed with my entire experience here. I initially came in for a general consultation with Dr. Rahbar to address many concerns about my general dental health to my dental aesthetic needs. And from my consultation to my final veneer delivery appointment, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. Dr. Rahbar took the time to carefully explain a comprehensive treatment plan that addressed each concern in a timely, effective, and thoughtful manner to meet the goals we agreed on and had in mind. My smile transformation has been a great investment, and my experience at Dentique only confirmed the truly outstanding reputation and positive reviews I had came across to prior to my visit. Aesthetic dental treatments can be overwhelming and costly but reviewing Dr. Rahbar's previous patient cases and her professionalism gave me complete confidence that I was in reliable and experienced hands and would achieve a natural looking result. I look forward to continuing my care with Dentique for all my future dental needs and would highly recommend the clinic to anyone looking for a skilled, contemporary and welcoming dental spa.

I left feeling criticized, old, cheap and patronized. I went in for a cleaning and felt like I got “sold” on doing something I didn’t plan on. It is a beautiful spa-like environment with a massage in the chair and heated toilet seat, but the actual care didn’t feel special. I left feeling like I did something wrong and that if I didn’t sign up for their expensive treatment I was going to look old and ugly. I would be aware of this overpriced “dentist” office. You can get much better value elsewhere. They did the X-rays and took tons of pictures to convince me I needed to pay a lot out of pocket for a deep cleaning. I didn’t want to get shots that day and wanted my normal teeth cleaning. She did a very cursory job after I refused the 1k(after my DD PPO pays 50-80%)option for the needles and deep cleaning. Left with a bad taste in my mouth…

Dr. Rahbar is exceptional. Skilled, kind, and genuinely committed to patient care. Her attention to detail is perfection. The whole team is fantastic--warm, inviting, responsive and professional. The office is beautiful, too. Every visit is smooth, on time and stress-free. Easily the best dental experience in San Diego. Dentique is 10/10 cannot recommend enough!
