Surfside Kids Dental and Orthodontics Land Park

Dr Jennifer is great. All the office staff are very sweet and friendly. They handle kids so well and have the most patience for the kids. It's so great! They listen well and are very attentive to everyone who is a patient .

Dawn, The lady at the front supposedly the manager, horrible service provided to the patients ! very rude with her replies no empathy whatsoever and to top it off scheduled my child anesthesiologist appointment incorrect had us sitting in the office for over an hour and a half mind. You my child had to start fasting 7 PM the day prior. This office really needs to do better on their staff for the front desk “management” Also, not the front desk is usually left alone and no one available upon arrival

We have been Surfside patients for 10+ years. My daughter was seen for her bi-annual cleaning on June 25, 2024 at the Land Park office. At that time, Dr. Jenny recommended sealants. We signed a potential cost agreement which was minimal at that time, and scheduled her sealants to be completed at her next appointment in January when she was due for her next cleaning. On January 2, 2025, we arrived for her appointment, and it was discovered that the amount of time scheduled for her appointment did not include time for sealants, just a cleaning. We were told there was not time to complete the expected procedure. When we checked out, we confirmed that her next cleaning appointment would in fact allow time for her sealants this time. On July 8, 2025, my daughter received her cleaning and sealants. Unbeknownst to us, Delta Dental does not cover sealants past the age of 14. This was NEVER mentioned. My daughter turned 14 on April 26, 2025. If we had be told, we would not have waited for a cleaning appointment to complete her sealants, and would have done so before April. Today, we received a bill $120.30- the cost of the sealants. I absolutely dispute this charge, as had she received the procedure on the first date it was supposed to happen, she would have still been 13. This mistake was not ours. I called the office today to inquire about the bill, and was told I should dispute it with Delta Dental after I pay Surfside. This was NOT Delta Dental's mistake. This was Surfside's mistake for not scheduling the original appointment with enough time for the sealants. They have zero email address or way to contest bills. I'm at a loss. So disappointed and frustrated.

I've been taking my kids here for nine years, and I love this dentist office. They're amazing, my oldest has some pretty bad dental and medical anxiety, and the dentists and hygienists have always been so good with him. Incredibly patient and kind, and have taught him some tricks to help manage his anxiety. We have an HMO through work, but I pay out of pocket for a PPO just so I can make sure my kids go to this dental office specifically. Highly recommend, especially for kids who have dental anxiety.

If I could give this dental office 100 stars, I would! My daughter is on the spectrum and dental visit are never any fun however all that stops with Surfside 🥹 every single staff member from the receptionist up was so warm, helpful and inviting! We are looking forward to her next appointment!
