I came in with extreme pain, and they took such great care of me. The gentleman and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and helpful. The dentist was amazing, and the entire staff was caring and did an excellent job. I truly appreciate the way I was treated and will definitely recommend them to anyone!

I felt very comfortable and welcomed here. The space is nice, and each team member that i met introduced themselves, was friendly, and knowledgeable. Alycia, the best Dental Hygienist ever, deserves special recognition! She’s gentle, thorough, and genuinely cares about your dental health. My cleanings have never been this smooth or pain-free, and she always leaves my teeth feeling spotless. And let’s not forget Heydee, the awesome Dental Assistant! She’s so friendly and attentive, always one step ahead of what the doctor needs, and makes the entire visit flow effortlessly. I have always had good experiences at this dental office in the past, which is why this situation was so disappointing and frustrating. In August, I came in for a routine cleaning and X-rays and was informed that my two bottom wisdom teeth were extremely impacted. At that time, it was not presented as an issue for this office to remove them. Because I was preparing to move away for college, I scheduled the extraction four months in advance for December so it would align with my school break and work schedule, allowing me time to recover. Since I now live in Santa Barbara, I tried to find a dentist there but was unable to. Because I trusted this office and had been a patient multiple times, I decided to keep my December appointment. I took time off work, planned around my school break, and paid for transportation including a $50 train ticket to make this appointment happen. On the day of my scheduled surgery, while I was already on the train, I received a call saying that after reviewing the same X-ray from four months ago, they decided they could not perform the extraction and that I would need to see an oral surgeon instead. I am not upset that they ultimately felt the procedure was beyond their scope I would rather a provider be honest and prioritize safety. What I am upset about is the timing. They had four months to review my X-rays and make this determination. Waiting until four hours before my appointment to cancel is extremely unprofessional and showed a complete lack of consideration for my time, money, and scheduling. To make matters worse, when I asked for a referral closer to Santa Barbara, where I currently live, I was told they could not provide one and would only do a referral for me to an oral surgeon in Riverside. After canceling my surgery at the last minute, offering only a referral several hours away felt dismissive and unhelpful. Because of this, I lost the opportunity to schedule care elsewhere during the holidays time I specifically set aside to heal away from work and school. Regardless of the reason for the cancellation, informing a patient hours before surgery after months of planning, travel, and preparation is unacceptable.
