As someone who has been traumatized by dentists, Dr. Tavakoli is the BEST dentist/orthodontist ever! He genuinely cares about his patients & the community he serves. His prices are BY FAR the lowest for braces in Oakland. I got multiple estimates and Dr. T literally saved me thousands of dollars on my braces!! He is super efficient & attentive during appts. Any time there was a poking wire or issue with brackets, I was always able to come in same day for a quick fix. Dr. T and the staff are super kind. Now i honestly look forward to my ortho appointments! :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Tavakoli and his team made my Invisalign process smooth and easy to understand. I really appreciated their transparency from the onset. Overall, I’m super happy with how my teeth are looking (and functioning) now! Highly recommend Welcome Orthodontics if you’ve been searching around.

Honestly, Dr. Tavakoli is great at what he does. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with dentists in the past, so I was definitely hesitant, but this place is a breath of fresh air. They really know how to take care of you here. Caitlyn was also incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the whole process, which I really appreciated. It makes a huge difference when the staff actually treats you with respect. The only thing I noticed is it can get a little hot in there sometimes I think the AC might be struggling to keep up with how much work they’re putting in! 😂 But seriously, everything else is perfect. Definitely the best spot in Oakland if you need an orthodontist.

Absolutely terrible experience. This orthodontist’s office has zero respect for their patients’ time. I went out of my way to check in EVERY week before my appointment to make sure they had everything they needed (insurance, paperwork, all of it). Every single time I was told I was good to go. Then out of nowhere - 15 minutes before my appointment while I was on the way there, they called LAST MINUTE to cancel my appointment like it’s no big deal. No accountability, no real apology that felt sincere, no good explanation, just completely dismissive. I had already taken time off work and rearranged my schedule, and they couldn’t care less. If you value clear communication and basic consideration, I’d think twice before coming here. Patients shouldn’t have to chase down an office just to still get canceled on at the last minute. I recommend going somewhere else.

The service was excellent and I loved how Dr.Tavakoli was very attentive and honest with my treatment. I recommend him and his office for orthodontic treatment!
