As someone who has been traumatized by dentists, Dr. Tavakoli is the BEST dentist/orthodontist ever! He genuinely cares about his patients & the community he serves. His prices are BY FAR the lowest for braces in Oakland. I got multiple estimates and Dr. T literally saved me thousands of dollars on my braces!! He is super efficient & attentive during appts. Any time there was a poking wire or issue with brackets, I was always able to come in same day for a quick fix. Dr. T and the staff are super kind. Now i honestly look forward to my ortho appointments! :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Tavakoli was more than and exceptional professional. I was a transplant patient, which is my way of saying I transferred from another practitioner into his office. He was more than fair in how he ran his business with me, and I appreciated the excellent service I received during my treatment. He and his amazing team were patient, kind, understanding, and committed to fulfilling the service the best they could offer, no matter how many times (or tubs of impression paste they had to use) to reach their desired outcome. They took me seriously, and I hope I was able to show that appreciation by taking their instruction seriously, respecting their time by being on time or early for appointments as often as I could, and offering my support with patients as they dealt with everyday office stuff that may fluster them while they try to do their jobs ie; calls to outsourced entities for help navigating the site’s necessary to utilize their equipment. They took great care of me, and already tell whoever will listen Welcome Orthodontics with Dr. Mark is the way to go. When we met he stated this practice was a way for him to give back before retiring, and I believed him. So, when I see he’s now opened another location I was a bit surprised. But as someone also an artist in their craft, I understand how amazing it feels to give back to those that need it, and why he doubled down to give even more. I’m not sure if he reads these, but if he happens to read this, please know Dr., you saved my day when your office picked up the phone, and I thank you for honoring the commitment you made with me, despite my blunders along the way. I can only hope that when I’m in a similar position for my clients I can show the same humility, care, and grace you had showed me during major transitional periods of my life. I pray for their continued success, and hope I can push their amazing example of exemplary business practitioners forward, so to run my business in the same manner. Dr T is very knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly, taking his time. The staff was very kind and professional. Stacy was very helpful. Very good practice, with free initial consultation. Arrive early, since parking maybe a challenge. Very limited parking, but well worth the effort.

The staff is extremely friendly, the service is top notch, and they are extremely flexible with scheduling. My braces cost a mere $5k or so, which was a great deal compared to other quotes I got, and I cannot recommend these folks enough. You will be well served going to Dr. Tavakoli and his amazing staff.

I'm delighted I found Dr. Takakoli. After two meetings with other orthodontists, he was the only one who understood my concerns about my child's teeth. During the consultation, he was really thorough and addressed all of my questions. I'm overjoyed with the treatment plan, the results, and my son's new smile. I will suggest this office to every one of my family and friends.
