Phelan Orthodontics, PA: Tom Phelan DDS, MS

I got my braces when I was a kid from Dr. Phelan, and it's neat that my own kids are getting their braces from Dr. Phelan (son!) They are friendly in a way I can't quite explain. You can tell they care about you as a person, not just a paying customer. They treat kids as little adults, as well, making sure the kids know everything that is going to happen, letting them see and touch the part that will go into their mouth... Just amazing. The ONLY thing is that you would never know they're located they're in the Encore Bank building! Plenty of signs inside, though.

I’ve always spoken highly of this orthodontic office and have referred many patients here, which made this experience especially disappointing. I had an unexpected situation with a dead car battery and arrived late despite communicating. I live two hours from LIttle Rock. Our appoinment was at 11:30 I tried calling the office to let them know and I left a voicemail even stating the reason why I will be a little late. I’m not sure why I got the answering service when I called at 11:00 a.m. business hours and staff were there to answer the phones. When I finally got a call back at 11:46 a.m. the front desk interaction felt very unsympathetic and nearly resulted in me having to reschedule despite them knowing that I am traveling from 2 hours away and my daughter misses school for these appointments. She told me to hang on that she needed to speak to them and see if we could be seen. Dr. Phelan graciously let her be seen. I am a dental hygienist and understand how late patients can throw off the schedule. Give patients grace sometimes especially if its not their normal to be late. This was my first offense in being late. I could understand if I was late every appointment. I understand policies are important, but compassion and customer service matter just as much—especially for loyal patients and referrals. Thank you Dr.Phelan and Kayla for still seeing us today!!

We have been going to Phelan Orthodontics for 5 or 6 years from the initial consultation until after the braces were off. I went to Dr. Phelan when I needed braces when I was a child, so we knew when our son needed orthodontics - Phelan was the only place to go. The staff is amazing and always super friendly. We especially love Jen!!! Thanks again Dr. Tom and staff. You are all awesome!

I love Phelan Orthodontics!!! I've had my braces for almost a year and a half. Every time I have an appointment, I am very pleased with Phelan. The staff is great! They are professional and very friendly. Dr. Phelan is magnificent. He really knows how to work with his patients and keep them well informed on what he is doing, the next steps, and anything else that needs to be known. The place is great for kids and adults. The wait time isn't very long, and I get out of the office quickly, so I can resume my day. I wouldn't have chosen any other orthodontics office. Thanks Phelan!

I would highly recommend Phelan Orthodontics to anyone. We have had nothing but the best experience with them at their office. The staff and doctors are always so nice, imformative and helpful. I always feel like my son is well taken care of and I have no doubt that he will end up with the most handsome smile when he is done with his treatment. I will be using them again when it is time for my other son to get braces because they are the best!
