Dr. Strickland is affordable (offering payment plans), explains things efficiently, and the office is clean. The only downside is trying to get scheduled, as he is booked out.

We love this office! He did my braces and my cousins when we were growing up 17 years ago. He is now doing my daughter's. It is a practice that is ran old school. I don't see anything wrong with that. Also it's the best prices around. I do recommend.

When I moved to Tennessee from Birmingham in the eighties, I was in the midst of orthodontia treatment and had braces on. My orthodontist in Birmingham referred me to Dr. Joe Strickland for completion of my treatment. I was told he was a perfectionist, so even though I lived over an hour’s drive from his office….I became Dr. Strickland’s patient. I am so happy I did! I have a background of working in dentistry and therefore I have some knowledge of oral problems. Dr. Strickland indeed turned out to be a perfectionist. One of the first things I noticed was he invests time in studying each client’s case. All cases are different and there is not just a magic fix for all. Teeth can move very quickly with braces on, but the bone which holds teeth in place, moves very slowly. I have heard Dr. Strickland explain these important little details to patients, and not all professionals take the time for this courtesy with people…. Since my treatment, all three of my kids have gone through orthodontia treatment with Dr. Strickland, and now he has my grandkids in braces. I wanted the best for my family, and we found that in Dr. Strickland.
